Chapter 47: Forever With You

News of the official wedding of Achlise and Rhysand spread all throughout the Continent like a wildfire. Hindi lamang sa Ivelhan. Since Ivelhan holds a large part of the West Continent, the neighboring country was able to receive the news of the arrival of the new Empress.

It became a big deal as Ivelhan remained without an Empress ever since Rhysand ascended the throne. Kaya inaasahan na ng lahat ang magarbong kasal at coronation na gaganapin sa iisang araw lamang.

That being said, the Imperial Palace as well as the Temple became busy for the wedding and preparation for Achlise's coronation. Nagsimula na rin si Achlise sa pagdalo sa Imperial Classes at trainings bilang susunod na Empress ng Ivelhan. Ishan also took part almost of his father's internal duty because Rhysand was busy with the preparation and some external affairs.

The maidservants, Temple Knights and the Knights of Ivelhan are also busy with their own parts in the upcoming event. Laman ng newspaper kahit sa karatig na mga lugar at continent ang balitang ito. In just five months, Ivelhan's incoming Empress became a hot topic to the point that Achlise's biography are even going around the continent.

Then after almost half a year of preparation, the day before the wedding and coronation has finally come.

Before the wedding and inauguration for the new Empress, the elected Empress-to-be should spend almost a day of praying in the temple as paying respect to the goddess of Western Continent and as one of the Ivelhan's customs before the coronation. Kaya naroon ngayon si Achlise kasama ang High Priest upang gabayan sa kaniyang prayers. The Temple Knights have also surrounded the Temple to guard her.

Nang sumapit ang gabi ay bumalik din ng Imperial Palace si Achlise.

"How's the prayer?" tanong ni Rhysand saka salubungin ng yakap si Achlise.

"It was a bit tiring but I feel refreshed."

"Hmm, that's a relief. Come on, let's have a dinner and rest. Tomorrow's a big day, especially for you," ngiting-ngiti pa si Rhysand habang sinasabi iyon.

"All right," ngiti ring sagot ni Achlise.

They had a sumptous dinner with Ishan. Nauna na rin silang magpahinga upang makapaghanda para bukas. Everything has been prepared. There are still some few things to prepare, kaya overtime din ang ibang maidservants at butlers upang tapusin ito.

Rhysand was playing with Achlise's fingers while lying next to each other.

"Can't wait to put our wedding ring on this beautiful finger," aniya sabay halik sa likuran ng kamay ni Achlise.

Napangiti naman si Achlise at hinawakan nang mahigpit ang kamay ni Rhysand.

"Same here. Ni hindi ko lubos maisip na napagdaanan natin ang lahat ng iyon. Now, we're here. About to get married officially. I can't be any happier, Ashid. Thank you for giving me this kind of happiness."

"Now, now... Let's save our vows for tomorrow, darling."

Achlise chuckled before nodding her head, "All right. Good night, Ashid."

"Good night, my love. Sweet dreams," Rhysand responded as he kisses her forehead.

The day of the wedding and coronation has finally come. Umagang-umaga pa lamang ay maingay na ang Imperial Palace. Kinailangan ding ilipat si Achlise sa guest room upang doon magbihis at maghanda.
