Going Out

I woke up making breakfast for my mom at 11. Bringing it up to her room. "Good morning," I say in my cheerful voice. Hearing her groan, she sits up.

"God, I have a massive headache." She says touching her head.

"Yeah, you've been out with Susannah all night getting drunk. Take some pills so the pain can go away." Handing her Tylenol pain killers.

"You are a lifesaver!" Grabbing her cup of water. "So you've made me breakfast?" Handing her plate. "Yes, I did and eat so your food won't get cold." She takes her fork and eats.

I sat on the edge of her bed and ask her a question. "Why did you get drunk?" Staring at the window. It takes her time to her answer until I know why.

"You saw didn't you." Knowing the answer to this. Shaking her head. "How?" If she doesn't have Instagram only Twitter, Facebook, and Snapchat.

"You left your phone here when you went out yesterday and when you got a notification. I went through your Instagram. I'm so sorry." She explains, grabbing her hands.

"I'm not mad at you that you went through my phone. I wish you told me so you don't have to get drunk." She moves her tray and starts to cry.

I came next to her hugging her. Okay, this day hasn't been the best so far since we both know. "Enough of me crying now, how did I come home."

Laughing at her knowing that Conrad brought her home. "Don't worry." Smiling through the sentence. She gives me a look.

"Cassie, remember Susannah?" My mom shouts from the kitchen. "Yeah," I shout back. "She's coming here!"

"Okay," I say, going back to the book I was reading.  Skipping lines that were so weird that I couldn't read them. Closing my book since I got tired of reading it.

I went to the kitchen seeing my mom make some pasta. "Ohh this smells good." Taking a small scoop of the sauce. Slaps my hand softly.

"No, but thank you." Mixing the sauce. Sitting at the counter and out of nowhere, I spoke. "At 6 I'm going out." Hoping she won't ask any questions.

"Oka- hold up," Dang it so close! I began to prepare for the worst. "Is it a guy?" She turns to look at me, shaking my head.

"Y'all know each other?" Moving my hands in the middle. "Well... uhh no really but were going out to hang out and I think to know each other," I tell her.

She tells me that I can go but I have to come back at 10 no later than that. I ran up to hug her. "Thank you, thank you!" She begins to laugh. Looking at the time in the kitchen to see it was only 3.

I don't have to get ready yet. Pulling out my phone and sent a message to Katie. That I'm going out with Conrad, turning off my phone.

I heard the doorbell ring and I went up to open it.  "Susannah," I smile letting her in, before she entered the house she hugged me.

Me being confused but I hugged her back. "Where's your mom?" Pointing to the kitchen. "Thanks," Squeeze my cheeks.

Shutting the door walking back to the kitchen so I can talk to Susannah. "So Cassie, your mom just told me that you're going out with a boy." When Susannah said boy she was very interesting.

Laying my hands on the table. "Yes, we're just hanging out nothing else," I tell her, and shoves me on her shoulder.  I began to smile but I quickly hid it.

Susannah helped my mom on passing out the plate while I grabbed the past and put it on the table. We all sat down and began to eat.

Mom and Susannah started talking while I was on my phone. I saw a message from Kaite saying; OMG! Girl, kiss him when it's the time ;)

I started to know that my mom caught me. "What's so funny?" Laying the cup on the table.

"Katie send me a message," I tell her, and I was hoping don't have to read the message.  "Okay," Taking a sip of my drink.

Staring at the time in the kitchen to see it's 5. Grabbing my plate and laying them on the sink. "Imma go change!" Shouting while running to my room.

Okay, I had no idea what to wear but then I remember that Kaite packed me some clothes. It was a Pink Pearl Sleeveless Dress.

With some flats since high heels aren't my thing. Checking the time on my phone to see I only have 25 minutes left. I straighten my hair and put on my favorite Coconut perfume.

My phone led me up to see a message from him. Grabbing it opening the message.

I'm on my way to your house

I'm just joking, ok

Grabbing my purse putting my phone inside. Walking down to the living room to see my mom and Susannah sitting down.

"Wow," Mom and Susannah said at the same time. Giggling at them. "You look so gorgeous," Susannah said, grabbing my left hand and spinning me around.

"Thanks, you know this is my first time going out since..." Before I finished that part I shook my hands since I was nervous.

"I know honey, but this is new and different." My mom says laying her hand on my shoulder. And she's right this is different since I went out with a boy and it didn't go well.

I hear the doorbell ring and I was nervous but I took a deep breath. Walked to the door, and twisted the door handle seeing him standing there.

Wearing a Blue and White long sleeves shirt, with some dark jeans. He stared at me and I didn't know what to say or do.

Gosh, this is awkward. "Wow, you look pretty," Rubbing the back of his neck. "Thank you, you look ravishing as well."

"Wait I know that voice," Hearing Susannah says she comes next to me. "Connie,"

Connie? I'm so confused.

"Umm, Connie?" I say confused scratching my head. Susannah turns me to her. "Cassie, this is my son, I just call him Connie." She explains. "Ohh, so you his mother." Nodding her head.

"Susannah leave the kids alone." My mom says coming to me. She leaves to go to the living room.  "Be sure to bring her back home at 10 no later than that." My mom says in a scary tone.

"Yes." With that, she leaves and I step outside, closing the door.

We walked to his Red Jeep car. He opens the door for me and I thanked him. We began to drive off to where I don't know.
