I woke up, saw my dog laying next to me, and remembered what happened yesterday. Wasn't sure how she got on my bed cuz she is so small and can't reach my bed. Walking down the stairs to see Beverly.

I groan and roll my eyes, I act like I didn't see her and went straight to the fridge to get some juice. "Well if it isn't Mia the whore." She said it like she was happy about it.

So I decided to say something back. "Well if it isn't Beverly the stick-up bitch," she scoffs at me.

I took the glass of orange juice and went to my room. I had nothing planned out for today and but I did have to go to see Nathen.

I texted him saying if he was free today and he said yes. I told him I'll meet him at work so he doesn't have to come to my house.

"Cassie," Beverly says but ignores her cuz no one is gonna pay attention to her in the future.

I flip her off and started to change into something nice. Shorts with a red shirt and sandals.

Going to my mom's car and driving to his work. I don't know what to say or how to act towards him.

I finally arrive and I see him working and I take a deep breath and turn off the car and walk towards him.

Nathen looked at me and he smiled and he walked towards me,  hugged me, and kiss me on the lips.

We break the kiss and I begin to speak.

"Nathen can we talk privately?" My heart begins to beat so fast.

"Yes, what's wrong?" Giving me a worried look. He told his boss that he needs to step out and we went for a walk.

"Cass is something bothering you?" I stopped him and said it. "You're breaking up with me?"

"Yes I'm sorry, I did like you but I don't know what happen. I just--" He interrupted me.

"Is it because of Conrad? I see the way he looks at you I'm not dumb." I was surprised he was taking this well. "No, it's not. He does that all the time." I say.

"Cassie I like you and I love you with my everything," he said cupping my cheek and I melt with his touch.

"I know you do and I can see it. But I feel like it's the best. We can be friends, I'll still be there for you. As how I promised you." He sighs and leans where our forehead touches.

We stay like this until we feel like it's enough. "you were the best boyfriend that I ever had." He smiled at me and we kissed for the last time.

He pulled me close to him, his hands around my waist and my hands around his neck. We stopped and he kissed my forehead I watched him leave.

Opening the door and leaning behind it. "Honey, where were you?" I see my mom and her bf and my dad with his wife. In the living room talking.

"I was with Nathan. I broke up with him." I let out as it hurt me. My mom came to hug me and she was asking if I was okay and stuff.

And I was and I told her I'm gonna be at the beach.
