Leaving the book store not knowing where to go. So I sighed and took a right and looked around, I saw an Ice Cream shop and looked both ways before I crossed the street. Running quickly, stepping inside, God it smelled so good.
That made my mouth water. Kinda smelled like something that I can't describe. "Hi and welcome to Boombalatti's Homemade Ice Cream." I smiled and walked to where I can see what flavors they had.
"Hi, um can I have a strawberry with a cone please?" The man nodded and I walked to the cash register. When he gave it to me it looked so damn good.
"That would be 8$ ma'am" Pulling out ten dollars and got my change back, walking out of the store heard the man saying have a great day. I saw lots of boats so I went on a walk on the docks.
The wind blew and it felt so great I was still eating my Ice Cream. But when I was walking on the dock I started to get flashbacks of when my dad would bring me here when I was younger.
FLASHBACK
I was 7 years old at that time, I and my dad went to the dock so we can look at the boats and do other things. "Cass, come on the boat so I can take you a ride real quick." my dad says and I smiled, running to the boat.
He started the engine and I got scared that I grabbed onto him. Once he began driving I let him go and go to the edge of the boat. "baby, don't go that far move back a bit so you don't have to fall into the water." I do what he says and I lay on the floor.
"daddy, it feels wonderful! the wind is blowing my hair everywhere." laughing, trying to move my hair out of my face. "glad you're enjoying this." turning to see him smiling. once he put the boat how it was.
"sweetie, go sit on the dock I got to see someone" bending down to get to my level since I was short. Sitting down wetting my feet I turn to see my dad with this lady but I turned back to the water.
Making splashing go everywhere.
END OF FLASHBACK
How come I didn't notice when I was younger?
"Hey!" I hear someone shout and I looked to see this boy running toward me. Before I knew what was happening, I felt two pairs of arms around my waist.
"Are you okay?" He asks taking me away from the edge of the dock. "Uhh.... yeah? What happened," Looked at him.
"Well, you almost fell to the water." He explains. I just give him an 'o'
"This might be weird to ask but can you move your arms?"
"Yeah, sorry." He moves them away and looked around.
"Also do you know where my Ice Cream went?" I ask nervously, rubbing my arm. Heard him laughing softly.
"About that, it fell in the water. But I can buy you another." Moving his hair out of his face. "No, it's okay," I say quickly that I didn't know what I just said. "Ok," He smiled. "Imma go now, I'll repay you somehow." Putting a stray of hair behind my ear.
I began to walk away from him. He grabbed my arm and I stop and turn around to face him. "What's your name?" I chuckle and thought he would say something else.
"Cassie Dawson, but my friends call me Cass for short,"
"Conrad Fisher, so are we friends?" He asks and I began to think. "I don't know," Moving back and forth. "If you have an answer I'll be here tomorrow."
Smiling and I nod walking back to the library. She was still talking to the lady not that I hated her or anything I just wish she was done. "Cassie!" My mom yells that I ran to her. "Yeah?" Scratching my head.
"Meet Susannah, Susannah this is my daughter Cassie." Smiling at her, shaking my hands with her. She looked very lovely. "It's nice meeting you, Cassie." She says putting her hand on my cheek,
"Cass, you can go home here's 20 bucks for a taxi to get you." Handing me the cash.
"Why am I going home?" I'm so confused. But I do what I'm told, I'm pretty sure she wants to know her more. I just decided to walk home but then I was also thinking if I should meet.. what's his name?
Conrad Fisher!
Taking a big sigh, once I was in the living room I lay on the sofa, telling Katie everything that happened today.

How did I get such a lucky friend? I went outside to wet my feet from the pool that we have. It was cold so COLD, that I couldn't put them back in.
This day is going to be boring I can already tell it. Well, it wasn't boring until I talked to Conrad, he was nice to talk to, pretty chill.
I didn't know what to do so I went to my room and started to play around with things. It was now 3 in the afternoon and my mom still wasn't back. So I went to the living room and order a small pizza.
The pizza came and I sat down to eat by myself which was very lonely. I hear the door open and it was my mom. "Sorry I took long, I hope you weren't hungry." Shaking my head.
"No, I ordered a small pizza." She sighs. "Everything good?" Asking worriedly. Walking toward me putting her hands on my cheek.
"I'm fine baby.'" Walking to the fridge trying to find something and I laugh.
"Mom we need to buy groceries tomorrow," I explain since we have nothing in the fridge.

"I was talking to someone today. I'm not telling you who it is cuz then your going to be all weird," I make a disgusted face and she laughs.
"No, I'm not." And then she started talking and I covered my ears and I could hear her still.
"Imagine having a little kid with him."
"I bet he's soo cute."
