"Why?""Something tells me it will be worth it."
Ivah awoke to the sound of humming. It causes them to open their eyes. The last time they heard humming that was not their own was almost seven years ago. They're inside a hut, and it's warm.
The bed is soft, softer than anything back home and the blanket isn't itchy.
They've been stripped of their armor again and when Ivah doesn't recognize the turf, they are certain it's because they never managed to make it back to Acerbi's lands after all.
Something shifts behind them and their eyes shut on instinct. They're not bound yet and it's likely to do with their captors still believe them to be unconscious.
When Ivah finally finds enough strength in them to turn their head to the side they see on the other side of the room. Past the sleeping Night Fury, is the Chief of Berk. In his hands is a writing utensil and he focuses as he writes at his desk, the humming seeming to be a subconscious act.
Slowly they peeled the blanket off their body to see bandages all along their hip, and along their arms.
Well that explains the pain.
They know they can either get up and sneak out, or they can kill the Berkian Chief.
Right here. Right now.
Then they can make it to their troops.
They can make it to Acerbi. They can assure safety to their troops.
And Belal...
The thought of Ivah's best friend served as the final ounce of strength and determination to stand. They glance at the Night Fury who remains asleep and resting.
Ivah knew the sleeping Aid was likely the cause that it was still sleeping, and knew the dragon would be keen to wake in the case of noise.
Ivah sees a blade in the corner table, likely meant to simple cuts on small crafts but it's enough to be used as a weapon.
It took everything in them not to let out any type of sound of pain when they stood and realized that their left leg should not have any type of pressure.
Ivah grabbed the blade and slowly walked over to the humming Chief. Ivah knew their steps weren't as quiet as they should be, their injured leg was only assuring that.
However the Chief wasn't even turning their head, nor was the dragon stirring from its rest.
The humming stops when she stands directly behind him.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." He answered slowly rolling up the BluePrint. She hasn't done anything yet but he seems to know exactly what she's planning.
