after school gets out, I go to graces class the get her. I hold her hand as we walk to the bus stop.

Ellie runs up to me. a grin on her face and panting really hard.
"you didn't see?!"
"um no?" I ask confused.
"get on Instagram!" I roll my eyes and grab my phone from my left ugg. she giggles at the hiding place.

I roll my eyes but giggle. I type my password which is, of course, devin.

I go to Instagram and see I gained likes, comments and followers. I knit my eyes brows together. I start to investigate as I sit on the bus.

my eyes widen when I see it. Devin Hayes liked all my photos. commented on all and even followed. I went from 2k to 9.7k.
"holy shit." I mutter.
"lucky." Ellie mutters. I grin. "check your dms. he keeps saying 'I wish she'd open my dm'." I nod after checking twitter. he followed me there too.

I go back on Instagram and check dms. I scroll through all of them until I find one. I instantly open it.
'hey gorgeous ;)'

it's from Devin.

just then I get a twitter notification.
'SHE OPENED IT HDJJ DSSOLB'

I giggle.
'hey cutie :)'

I lock my phone and see I'm at my house. grace and I get off and head to the door. I unlock it and step inside. grace runs off.
"homework." I yell to her. she groans but I hear her open her back pack.

I go to my room and play some music. I start on my homework.

I finish around six and check my phone. dm from Devin.
'flirting now? I like it ;) so, how are you?'
'I'm good. just gonna feed my fat butt and sister :) how are you?'

I fix pizzas and my sister and I eat them.
'fat? no, skinny. no, just right. perfect.'
'awh, stop. I'm blushing.'
'its my job babe.'

the rest of the night we stay up talking. we end up switching to numbers tho.

around two a.m., I finally told him good night. I get up and wash my face. I don't change my clothes. im too tired too. i plug my phone in and close my eyes.

it's been a month since Devin dmed me.

I really like him. he knows I do too. he said he even likes me too. it didn't make things awkward tho.

we facetime all the time. were always texting too. every free chance we get, were talking.

I sigh and finally decided to get ready for school. I slip on some ripped skinny jeans and my Devin Hayes hoodie. I slide my feet into vans and go into the bathroom.

I wash my face and put on my usual makeup. eye liner and mascara. I curl my hair with a curling wand and put a flower crown on. I grab my phone and bag, I head downstairs. I grab the plate my mom made me and sat down beside her and grace.
"were having a bonfire tonight. family and friends are coming." I nod and finish my food.

I grab graces hand and we had to the bus stop. we meet up with Ellie.
"bonfire tonight." I say. she nods.
"I'll be there." I nod and smile.

school goes by fast. really fast. everyone was acting weird too. every time I'd come near, they'd stop talking. I have a feeling its about me but I don't ask.

I sigh and walk to graces class.
"grace, are you okay?" a voice says. I knit my eye brows and turn the corner. I gasp seeing my sister. she did on a chair. a bruise on her right eye, left check and jaw line.
"who did this?" I pretty much yell.
"hayden!" she yells. she runs to me. I bend down and pick her up. her tiny arms wrap around my neck. I look at her teacher.

"what happened?" I ask her. she sighs.
"I don't know. she went to the bathroom and ten minutes later came back like this. she won't tell me who. if she tells you, let me know please." I nod and grab her jacket. I slip it on her and grab her backpack.

I start to walk to the bus in a hurry. I don't wanna miss it. if I do, I'll be walking for god knows how long. I rush to the bus and sit in my seat with Ellie. its only then did I notice, grace was crying.
"what happen?" Ellie whisper. I shrug. I ignore all the people that walk by. until one says something.
"awh, is hayden being a good big sister and taking care of her brat of a sister?"
"you did this?" I growled. she smirks.
"of course I did. she wouldn't move so I pushed her."
"which caused three bruises?"
"okay, I punched her." I hand grace to Ellie who cries.

I jump on the girl. I push her down and kick her. I punch her. she punched my eye.

we get pulled off of each other.
"little bitch. you broke my nose!" she gasps. I smirk.
"mess with my sister you mess with me." I say.
"and me." Ellie says. we smirk and high five.

I take grace back and get off the bus. I go inside and see my mom.
"I already heard about grace." she looks at me. she gaps. "what happen?"
"I got into a fight with the girl that hurt her." she sighs and shakes her head.
"bonfire starts at five." I nod.
"I'm gonna take a nap." she nods and kisses my forehead.

I go up to my room and throw my bag down. I slip my shoes off and lay on my bed. I close my eyes and drift off to sleep.

when I wake it's because I hear voices in my bank yard. I sigh knowing the bonfire already started. I check the time. it's only five ten.

I fix my curls and makeup. I grab my phone and stuff it in my back pocket. I meet Ellie out side and see all my family. I grin and greet everyone.

it's about an hour later when grace comes up to me.
"come with me to the lake." she says. I nod and stand up. I grab her hand and walk with her. as we get to the dock, I see a person standing there with what looks like flowers.

a they turn around, grace runs back to the house. I see the moon shine on the persons face and gasp.
