seventeen

it's now Sunday, the day I'm taking the girls swimming. I sigh and get up out of bed.

I decide not to shower, considering I'm getting in the water. instead, I wash my face and put on some water proof eyeliner and mascara.

I sigh and go through my dresser for a swimsuit. I pull out the one I recently just bought.

its white and has like strings coming down the top. I go into the bathroom and strip from my clothes. I slip my swimsuit and then go into my bedroom again. I slip on some jean shorts and a cut off shirt. I slip on some vans and tie my hair in a pony tail.

I grab a draw string bag and I stuff some clothes in it. I also put some money in there and then I go to get the girls up. I go into graces room and gently wake her up.
"grace, wake up, sweetie. were going to the beach." she groans. I giggle. "get up, sweetie."

I go to her dresser and pick out her swimsuit and clothes. its a one piece with several different designs. it shows the back tho. its for older girls but when I saw it, I knew it was for grace. I grab an extra pair of clothes for her and head to izzys room.

I see her awake and just playing in her crib. I smile at her and grab her diaper bag. I stuff an extra pair of clothes for her and grace in the bag. I stuff a sippy cup, snacks, diapers and swim diapers in it. I grab Izzy's swimsuit and take her out of her crib.
"wanna go swimming?" I ask her.
"wimmng!" she cheers. I giggle because she can't prounce words yet. she giggles. I put on a swim diaper and slip her two piece swimsuit on her.

it's zebra with a tutu on the bottom.

I put some clothes on her over her swim suit. I put her little vans on her and grab our bags. I go downstairs and see grace already dressed and eating. I giggle and set Izzy in her highchair. I give her son cheerios and I get me some breakfast.

I sit down and eat my cereal. once were all done, I clean up Izzy and grab the bags. we all head to my moms car. she's letting me take hers and she took mine to work.

I buckle both girls up and buckle myself in. I stop by Ellie's and pick her up.
"hey, babe." I smile at her. "what's wrong?" she asks. I sigh.
"I just miss devin."
"I miss him too, love. he was your happiness." I sigh. the rest of the car ride was silenced.

once we get to the beach, I see its not that crowed. I mean, there's people but not as much as I thought there would be. I smile slightly and grab the bags. grace unbuckles herself and gets out. Ellie gets Izzy. she smiles and starts talking to the two year old. I smile and grace grabs my hand. I smile and we find a spot on the beach.

I spread out the towels and go back to the car. I pop the truck and get the beach toys out. I lock the car and head back to the girls. I give the toys to the girls. they start playing in the sand.

I take their clothes off and put dinner sun screen on them. I take their shoes and socks off. I put all the stuff in our bags. I sigh and take off my shoes and socks. I take off my clothes. I instantly feel eyes on me. I roll my eyes.

"water?" I ask.
"YES!" everyone yells. I giggle and hold Izzy's hand. I smile as she waddles to the water.

for the next few hours we spend time in the water. I'm sitting in the shallow end with Izzy when she fallsd over.
"someone tired?" she nods sleeply. I giggle and stand up. I wipe my butt off and pick her up. she instantly lays her head on my shoulder.

I go to the towels and set up the umbrella. I lay her on the towel. she falls asleep. I smile and lay down on my towel. I let the sun soak into my body.

I sigh. I grab my phone as it just buzzed. I see Devin's name. I smile a bit. I open the message.
'I think your ass got bigger.'

I roll my eyes and look around. I turn to my left and see he's with a big group of people. looks like the old magcon boys and a few others. I sigh and decide to reply.
'same to you.' I smirk as I send it.

"hayden!" Ellie yells as she runs to me. I sit up and turn around.
"what? what's wrong?" I ask standing up.
"I can't find grace!"
"stay here with Izzy." I leave the crying girl and run yo the water. I rush to where I last saw them. I go under and see her. she's deeper out. I come above water and see people standing out shore looking at me. I go back under and swim to her. her eyes are closed. it looks like her foot is caught. I untangle her foot and pull her above water.

I pull her to shore. I lay her down and lay beside her, breathing heavy. someone does CPR on her. I smile as I see she's waking up. she sees me and jumps into my arms. I smile and hug my baby sister.

I feel her tears. I just sit there with her as people start to leave.
"go talk to Ellie. you kinda scared her." she nods and gets up. she wobbles a bit. I stand up and help her walk over there. Ellie hugs her. I smile and walk back to the water. I wash all the and off and take my hair down. I shake my head and walk back to the girls.

"I'm going for a walk." Ellie nods. I grab my shirt from my bag. I notice it's devin old white one. I smile and slip it on. I sigh and walk to the water. I walk to the left and ignore Devin's group as they watch me.

I turn my head and watch devin. he raises an eyebrow. me being me, I smile knowing what his question is.

"can I walk with you?"
"yes."
