fourteen

my birthday went on. I hung out with all the people on digi. had some time alone with devin and then went out to eat with mom, grace, Ellie and devin.

all in all, I had an amazing day. I got to see my boyfriend, meet new people, and even make some new friends. it was fun.

now, its time for the long journey back home. everyone is in the car while I say bye. then everyone from digi is outside watching devin and I.

"I'll see you soon, okay?" devin says. I nod.
"see you soon." I whisper. he sighs and pulls my chin up.
"I'll see you soon. I promise, okay?" I nod. "I love you."
"I love you too." he smiles and bends down to kiss my lips. I smile and stand up to meet him. our lips move in sync, sparks flying everywhere.

once I pull away, he pulls my into a hug. I hug his torso, nuzzling my face in his chest. his lips touch my forehead and I close my eyes, hoping to keep this moment forever. I sigh, knowing I have to get back home.
"please don't forget me."
"I never could." I smile and stand up to kiss his cheek. I do and back up.

I hold back the tears and walk to the car. one step away from devin and the tears fall. as I get closer to the car, the more I want to stay with him. I sigh and buckle up in my seat. I wipe the tears and see him doing the same. I smile slightly and blow him a kiss. he catches it and blows one back. I smile and catch it.

my mom pulls away and drives off to our home.

I sigh, its been three months since my birthday. I missed devins party. the reason because, devin forgot to invite me.

the past three months has been hell for me. devin promised to not forget me, and that's what he did. he pretty much forgot about me. we texted for about a week after I left. after that, I was lucky if I got a text that week.

its heart breaking. it hurts to know your own boyfriend forgot forgot you.

I sigh and grab my phone. I decide to text him.
'I have no idea if you'll even see this but, I think we should break up. we haven't been talking. I'm lucky if I get a text from you in a week. I can't take it anymore. its over.'

I send it and throw my phone down.

it was a hard decision but i think its for the best.

I sigh and decide to get ready and take grace out. she wants to go to the mall to get a new bathing suit. so, since mom's at work, I decided to take her.

I sigh and pull on high waisted shorts. I find a gray crop top, and slip it on. I slip my gray vans on and throw my hair into a messy bun. I quickly put some makeup on and grab my phone and money.

I go downstairs and see grace is all ready. I smile and grab her hand. I grab my house keys and lock the door. we smile at each other and head off to the mall.

ten minutes later, were at the mall and in a store. I walk around with grace as she looks at the little kid swim suits. once she's done, she finds two she likes.
"go try them on. I'm gonna go look at my size." she nods and asks a lady to open a dressing room door. I smile and go to my size. I look around and find a strap less bikini that's rainbow. I smile and find my size. I keep looking. I go through half the store before I find another one I like. its all white. its strapless too. its like string on the hips and on the back of the top.

I go back to grace and see her dressed and waiting for me.
"done?" she nods.
"can I get them both please?" I nod. I take her swimsuits and mine. I pay for them and see it's about noon.
"want some food?" she nods and grabs my hand.

we talk on the way to the food court. my phone vibrates and I take it from my back pocket. I open the text, seeing devin sent it. its a picture message AMD says I see you. the picture is of me and grace right now.

oh god. he's here in my towns mall. I broke up with him this morning. shit.

I ignore the text and get in line at McDonalds. once its our turn, I order food for grace and we find a seat.
"are you gonna eat?" grace asks. I shake my head no. she frowns. "please eat. you haven't ate since yesterday."
"I'm not hungry, grace." I say.
"please?" I ignore her as my phone vibrates.

'please eat.'

its from devin. I sigh and look around the food court. there I see devin, looking straight at me. then all the digi people sitting around him, looking at me. I look at grace. tears are in her eyes. I sigh and get up to get in line. I order my food and sit back down.

I eat and give grace my phone to play on. I finish my food and throw our trash away. I grab my phone from grace and grab her hand. we grab our drinks and head to the exit. I look down to see grace yawning and rubbing her eyes. I smile down at her and pick her up. I throw our cups away so its easier to hold her.

I sigh and kiss her forehead. I continue to the exit and walk out.

the ten minute wall to my house, while holding a sleeping girl, was hell. I advise you to never hold a sleeping child.

I sigh and unlock the front door. I say hi to my mom and go upstairs to put grace in her bed.

as I come back down, I jump as I look in the living room. there sits devin and the digi fest guests.
