Edison was angry, drunk and it was clear he had a crazy temper that he had no control over, and it was a lethal combination. I tried to back away from him but he disappeared and I panic looking around frantic trying to figure out where he was. He punched me hard in the back sending me flying forward, he appeared over top of me and roughly grabbed me up by my hair.

He spun around to face him and punched me hard in the face, and laughed. "I hope you are ready to die, don't worry I will make it nice and slow."

He dropped me hard to he ground and pulled back his foot hard and kicked me in the ribs, my skin burned as it slid across jagged rocks that where scattered in the grass. I couldn't even fight back he was to quick for me I didn't have a chance to react.

He didn't move he just stared at me from where he was, my body was sore as hell and I had deep gash over my eye. I winced as I wiped the blood away so I could try in see, I slowly pushed myself up of the ground and spit out blood that had filled my mouth.

"I'm not going to make this easy for you." I panted.

"Oh that makes it all the more fun for me." He chuckled loudly.

He clenched his fist at his sides and a sharp gust of wind blew around us, I knew I had to bring out my chains. I held out my arms and the black chains snaked out tightly around my wrist for a second and then they loosened and levitated around my arms.

"See Julius told me about your hang up with humans but he thought once you met me, and seen how happy he is you would come around." I panted again trying to catch my breath.

"I will never come around to accepting a human as my queen, humans are just tools nothing more we use your bodies for vessels, and we take your souls. Humans are weak, and you are weak you think that little gift of yours will do you any good? It won't do shit for you because you don't have what it takes to use it, and you also don't have what it takes to kill me." He bit out.

"What is killing me going to solves?" I seethed.

"Julius is a great king but he is to kind to what really needs to be done, Black Pegasus is a strong clan, but it can be so much more. You coming around making him get all googly eye right now isn't what he needs, he will be upset but he will get over it. See I have plans and you are just getting in the fucking way of it, so I'm going to make you disappear." He answered smiling.

"You don't care about Julius your not only supposed to be his knight but his friend and you don't deserve either title." I yelled.

"Blah blah, enough talking its time to die." He laughed.

He put his hands in the air and slowly the leaves on the trees begin to move, and my hair begin to fiercely whip around my face. I thought back to the training that Julius had given me and than one again I thought back to my life as a human. Yes my parents were assholes they let me do whatever I want because they knew what they had done. But I got experience life and it made me fearless, I was never scared to try something new.

When I became a demon I forgot that part of myself I was scared of my gifts instead of just embracing them. Now here I was in my life was on the line, this dick head standing in front of me isn't going to back down. Edison lunged at me and grabbed me roughly by the throat swinging me in the air, I tried to brace myself as I hit ground. But before I could hit the ground Edison was there kicking me back in the opposite direction, my body flung through the air like a rag doll.

My body hit the ground with a thud and I knew that if I was human, I would have been dead many hits ago, he was not holding back at all. I tried to stand and screamed in pain as I felt a piercing sharp pain in my side, I looked down to see a jagged rock stabbing me in my side.
