Chapter 19

My head was spinning and I felt dizzy but all of sudden I was standing back in the all white room. I stepped back away from the woman in front of me unsure of what happened.

"What did you just show me and where am I?" I questioned in shock.

"You are in wayward one of the many places in limbo, and I knew the moment you arrived here I had to speak with you. I'm Edera and long time ago I was once know as the queen of destruction and that gift you posses was long ago name after me. My history and the things I accomplished was wiped away as if it never happened, and Midas made sure of that. He created his own history and took credit for the things that I had done in my short reign and life as a queen. I died to soon stuck living an unfilled life waiting to see that finally things will change but they haven't. Then one day you arrived into the underworld and I have kept my eye on you ever since. I believe that you can bring about the change that is needed in this world." She answered.

"I don't get this why me, and why bring me here there isn't anything special about me." I replied.

"You like many women know things aren't right in the underworld, but many are scared to speak. You are in a coma and I'm not sure why but because of that your soul is stuck in this place." She said softly.

I couldn't believe I was in a coma the last thing I remembered was getting ready for my wedding.

"I knew that it was my chance to speak with you and show you the secrets and darkness in this world."Edera said bringing me out of my thoughts.

"Why me? As you can see I can't do much I'm here same as you." I sighed.

"I never got the chance to have children and pass on my gifts and I think that you are the one I was to give my powers too. In this place I no longer have use for them and with the boost of power you will finally be one with you gifts, and It will be the power you need to wake up." She explained.

"What if I refuse what if I don't want all of this on my shoulders?" I asked.

"I will still help you leave this place, but giving you my powers still means danger will follow because you will be the barer of these marks." She said as she brought her arms up showing me the chained tattoos that spiraled around her middle finger, wrist and up her arm.

"Before you decide let me show you the things that I had seen and had to watch." She added.

I slowly nodded knowing that I wanted to see what she had to show me, I couldn't change the curious part of myself. I slowly walked back toward her and she held out her hand and I hesitated for a second and placed my hand into hers. I expected to feel that same unpleasant feeling I felt before but instead the room slowly dripped away.

It was like watching someone pour a blob of colors together and then wiping them away, and then all of sudden we were somewhere else. It was daylight and we stood in a large field surrounded by a bard wired fence, and the field was full of different flower and herbs. The sky was a grayish smokey color and the yellow moon was high in the sky, and the sound of allowed siren whipped through the air.

"What the hell is that?" I yelled.

"Its the sound to let the slaves know its time for work." Edera said angrily.

All of sudden at the top of hill led by a large guy with a weird looking weapon was a group of women and girls. They looked like they barely ate, there skin was covered and dirty and there clothes were all tattered and old. They all had shackles around there ankles and they all were ordered to get there supplies and get to work.
