I woke up too Saxton swirling his finger across my naked back while I lay on my stomach. I open my eyes and slowly turned around. "You didn't sleep very long." He stated.

"I don't think I have truly slept well since I woke up, I know Edison is dead but part of me doesn't believe he was responsible. I can't help that it eats at me wondering what he had to gain because the poison didn't kill me." I admitted.

"I have met Edison and I never thought he was capable of doing that, I mean it is a complicated poison. But I couldn't imagine who he could be working for." He replied.

"I do find it pretty convenient that his ex is back in the picture the moment that I'm not and then she gets pregnant. Part of me thinks she planned it and the other part of me feel likes I'm just being crazy and paranoid." I responded.

"Well I have met Phaedra at many gala's so I don't think your paranoid, But I don't know how we could find proof." He said as he sat up.

"We?" I questioned as I sat up as well pulling the blanket over my bare breast.

"I offered to help you and I will help you as long as you need me." He answered.

"That means a lot to me, but I don't think there is any proof or someone would have found it. But I do know that I have to stop focusing on it because it won't do me any good." I admitted I had to move past it no matter how hard it was.

I knew I couldn't truly do what I had planned to do if I didn't focus on the things I had ahead of me. Julius wasn't there for me and he let me walk out of the kingdom without even a glance, there was no need to harp on it. He had six months to move on with his life and I had just started but I planned to make up for the time I lost.

"Your right but doesn't mean we can't try to figure it out at some point but I understand right now isn't the time. Today I will go into Labaren and try to find out as much as I can, then we will have to think of way to get us all in." He informed me.

"How will we all get in and be able to meet with the king?" I asked.

"We have to figure out a reason that we all would need to be there and that means possible creating alias. Also some very good forged documents but don't worry Barren can handle that, we will figure it out it will just take a little time." He responded.

Saxton pulled me into his arms and I lay my head on his shoulder and let out a large sigh. We were all putting our lives on the line and I wanted everything to go right and not lose anyone. "I'm scared that I have gotten everyone involved in a crusade we possibly can't win. There are only six of us what can we truly do?" I said admitting my fears.

"The object of our mission isn't to have to fight the whole Labaren army that would be a suicide mission. What we are going to do is find a way to access personal contact with the king, a meeting of some sort. The king only has a few guards in a meeting or sometimes just the saber and knight because of what gets talked about. We have to peek his interest and also make it be something that he wouldn't want to many ears around for. It is the reason I'm going to scope things out so we can have an idea of what we are dealing with. With a city as big as Labaren they are always looking for a new way to make more cash, the king is greedy. Don't worry there isn't a need to do so not at this point, the time will be when it's time to fight. If you kill the king that means the land becomes yours, and many won't blindly follow. It won't be easy and you need to prepare not only for that but the slaves lives you are going to change."

"I'm ready for the fight and I have been told many times what happens when a queen tries to run a city. But I don't care about that I be damned if I live my life here with the way things are, I just can't." I replied taking in everything Saxton had said to me.

"That is why I know that you can do it, you have doubts anyone would. But the fact that your still pushing forward wanting to do it anyway shows your true strength." He said kissing the top of my forehead.

"Now we have a busy day let's get a little bit more rest." He added.

"Yeah your right." I agreed and we both slid down back into the bed. Saxton wrapped his arms around me and it felt weird to have the body warmth next to me. Even before I was in a coma I had felt cold and alone in I hadn't realized it until now.
