i spent the rest of the day alternating between texting luke and calum, listening to music, reading and drawing- only coming out of my room to eat and go to the bathroom. luke sent me some links to his youtube channel for his band, 5 seconds of summer. they were surprisingly really good. i spent a good half hour just watching their covers.

luke had a great voice. it's so powerful and his vocal range is just amazing. i could honestly listen to him sing for hours. calum has always been really musical, so it was np surprise to me that he was the bass player, but he also did backing vocals. he had a really soft, unique voice, which i didn't know about until now! the other two members of the band, michael and ashton, were amazing- michael on guitar and ashton on drums. looking at the boys, i made a mental note to introduce them to my friends- i'm sure at least one couple could hit it off!

at one stage during the day, calum asked me and luke to meet him at the local skate park. i agreed instantly, so excited at the prospect of seeing luke again. i asked calum if i could invite some friends- two cute girls for him! he agreed, but gave me very specific instructions on what they should look like. i decided that my friend elena would be perfect for him, and invited katrina along because i knew her and luke would bond instantly.

i honestly couldn't wait to see luke again. to prepare for the day ahead, i decided to have a shower and wash my hair. i used my favourite shampoo, the one that smelled like vanilla. i chose i cute outfit to wear- a band singlet with high-waisted shorts and my converse. i tried it on to make sure it looked good and smiled at my reflection- i looked better than i thought i would. the shorts made my long legs look even longer, and the singlet showed off the smoothness of my arm muscles, and happiness i felt was undeniable.

i was so excited for tomorrow. i don't know what had come over me. i had never felt this hung up over a guy before! i texted elena and kat in our group chat and decided to ask them to spend the night.

hey! going to the skate park with calum and his friend, luke, tomorrow. did you wanna spend the night tonight and come with me?

i smiled as i pressed send, thinking of something else to add.

elena: why did you not tell me about your hot cousin before?!
katrina: omg! skate park and hot boys? i'm there!

i laughed out loud and quickly typed back a response.

umm, because he's my cousin elena!

their replies were almost instantaneous.

elena: haha! :D be at your place at 7!

kat: someone buy some chocolate!!

i smiled and locked my phone. tomorrow was going to be a fun day.
