i saw luke almost every day before him and the boys left. we went on dates to the movies and caught up with our friends at the skate park. a lot of the time, luke needed to practice, so i would sit in his music room and listen to the sound of his instruments. in those four weeks before tour, i think i spent just as much time with calum, michael and ashton as i did with luke.

5 seconds of summer wrote almost an entire album in those four short weeks. they really were a talented group of boys. in that time, 5sos was beginning to get really popular. each of the boys had over 100,000 followers on twitter. every girl from 11-18 seemed to be in love with them. however, with all of that love, there was an equal amount of hate. luke never really let the hate get to him, but i was always there regardless.

i introduced ashton to julia, and they got really close. eventually, michael and katrina got together. i was so happy for them. the smile that was on katrina's face never seemed to fade.

unfortunately, there was no such luck for elena and cal. because of her parents, elena wasn't allowed to have a boyfriend. they were both heartbroken. i felt so bad, but i couldn't do anything for them. it just couldn't be helped. but in saying that, elena and calum remained really good friends, which is a positive.

one of the days before the take me home tour, luke wanted to take me out. where, i didn't know. the only thing i knew was that i had to be ready at 10. as i had breakfast, i found myself singing along to one of 5sos's songs.

"i can't forget my english love affair!"

ugh- why was it so catchy! i was ready for luke at 9, leaving me an hour of nothing to do but wait. i decided to call katrina. she picked up on the last ring.

"hello?" she said. "why do you always answer on the last ring?!" i said, instead of saying hello back. "well, i'm sorry!" she cried, "but voodoo doll is my ringtone, and i need to hear michael's voice before answering!" i laughed, michael did sound really good in that song. "well then, that's fair enough!" i said, still laughing.

"tell me where you're hiding your voodoo doll 'cause i can't control myself!" katrina sung into the phone, giggling like crazy. "i don't wanna stay, i wanna run away but i'm trapped under your spell!" i sang back. i chuckled, then asked katrina a question. "have you seen mikey lately?" i could just imagine the smile on her face. "i stayed at his place last night, he's in the shower right now," she replied. "why aren't you in the shower with him?" i asked playfully. katrina laughed. "well, i'm still a bit sore from last night." she said, shrieking with laughter at my obvious discomfort. "ew! kat!" i cried. she stopped laughing long enough to reply. "i'm kidding tiahn, jeez!" she replied. i laughed, despite the disgusting images in my head. "of course you're only kidding," i said, teasing her.

she laughed, "trust me, if i could, i would!" i was confused, "well, why can't you?" i asked. katrina sighed. "in order to do that, he'd have to see more of me than he does on a day to day basis, and i don't even understand how he can tolerate that." she replied. i shook my head. before i could reply, i heard michael's voice in the background. "sorry tiahn! i gotta go, love you!" she said, hanging up before i could reply. i stared at my phone in bewilderment, and headed upstairs to my room.

i pulled out the sketchbook luke gave me and started drawing. i was working on my lyric drawing. it was the song 'the only reason,' by none other than 5 seconds of summer.

"when i close my eyes and try to sleep, i fall apart, i find it hard to breathe. you're the reason, the only reason. even though my dizzy head is numb i swear my heart is never giving up. you're the reason, the only reason."

i love doing lyric drawings. my sketchbook was filled with them. amnesia, disconnected, end up here, good girls, just saying, long way home, lost boy, never be- they all had their own illustration.

i hadn't noticed the time until my phone started ringing. i smiled as luke's face popped up on my screen and his voice filled my ears.

"tonight we're fading fast. i just wanna make this last. if i could say the things that i want to say, i'd find a way to make you stay. i'd never let you get away. catch you in all the games we've played."

i picked it up on the last ring. "hello?" i said. "hey baby," luke said. i smiled. "why do you always answer on the last ring?" he asked me. i laughed, "i just asked kat the same thing. it's so that we can fully enjoy the beautiful voices of our boyfriends." i replied, causing luke to laugh. "what song is kat's ringtone?" he asked. "voodoo doll," i answered. luke chuckled, "michael does sound great in that song," he acknowledged. "i know right?" i replied.

"anyways," luke said, "you ready for today?" i was confused, "um, as ready as i can be with the limited information you've shared, i guess?" luke laughed, "great, see you in 15."

luke beeped the horn when he arrived. i shouted out a goodbye and bounded down the stairs and out the front door, locking it behind me. "hey there," i said, getting in. luke smiled. "hey gorgeous, you ready to go?" he asked. "sure," i said, grabbing his left hand and turning on the stereo- to 5sos of course!
