6:51 AM.

"y/n!! wake up!" kazuha exclaims as he tries to get you out of bed.

"wtf do you want" you groan as you get dragged towards your closet.

"we're gonna be late for the field trip! we need to be at school by 7! it's 6:51!"

"OH SHIT" you curse, immediately waking up. you rush to your closet, and quickly get undressed and change into your school uniform. (don't forget that kazuha's still in the room. uh oh)

kazuha's face turned bright red. "...don't worry about your clothes for the trip. i already packed them." he stammered.

"oh- thanks" wait... he was still in the room!?

"no time for cooking breakfast!" you yell, pulling kazuha out of the apartment by the backpack.

you made a quick stop by the bakery to grab breakfast, then fucking sprinted to liyue high.

"kazuha! y/n! where were you guys? the bus is about to leave!" xiangling worriedly scolded the two of you.

"she really is the mom of our group." chongyun commented, letting out a small chuckle.

"pfft- y/n forgot there was a field trip." kazuha teased.

"SHUT YO GOOFY ASS UP"

anyways, your class boarded the bus. off you go!

8:28 AM.

"are we there yet?" venti asks. everyone groaned.

"STOP ASKING!!"

venti probably repeated that question 27297473826483 more times. that was pretty unfortunate for aether, who was sitting next to him. you were sitting next to xiangling, chongyun was next to xingqiu, and kazuha was next to xiao.

"oh? they fell asleep. hehe." says xiangling, whose shoulder you fell asleep on. ooo... i have a plan.

"kazuha, can we switch seats? i need to tell xiao something."

"sure."

as per xiangling's plan, kazuha takes his belongings and settles down next to a sleeping y/n.

and to portray the wattpad logic, your head slowly falls onto his shoulder. (send help this is too cliché)

kazuha turns his head to see your sleeping face.  that moment, he felt at peace.

from other areas in the bus, people were silently fangirling at what they were witnessing.

"mehehe.. my plan worked."xiangling said, giving herself a pat on the back.

"what the fuck?" says xiao, who just realized she and kazuha switched seats.
