at last, graduation day had arrived.
your senior year was quite an interesting one.

1:09 PM.

"KAEDEHARA KAZUHA IF YOU DON'T HURRY THE FUCK UP I'M DRAGGING YOU BY YOUR PRECIOUS HAIR." y/n yelled, putting on their shoes.

"wait! it's our graduation- i need to look presentable!"

you had to be at the venue by 1:15 in the afternoon.... the amount of time spent on outfits and hair was quite immense!

finally, you dragged kazuha out of your apartment. how adorable.!

in front of the building awaited xiao and his car. he was everyone's personal driver lmao.

xiao was in the drivers seat, and next to him in the passenger's seat was xiangling. chongyun, xingqiu, and venti sat in the row behind them, and heizou sat alone in the third row.

"welp. the only vacant stuff is back there." you commented. "let's just climb over these seats i guess"

"by the way, where's aether? doesn't he normally come with us?" you asked.

"he's with lumine. they got a ride from beidou and ningguang since this car is full." xiao responded dryly. some parts of his hair were slicked back with gel, making the red eyeliner he wore more visible.

"ohh okay."

"looks like someone's mommy helped them get ready." heizou giggled. welp, he was right.
verr goldet did actually help xiao get ready.

"i'm gonna drop you off at a preschool." xiao grunted. the car stopped abruptly, making everyone jump.

1:42 PM.

twelve minutes into the ceremony, and you were already kind of bored. finally,

"l/n y/n." your name was called, and you walked up to the stage.

"let's get this over with." y/n whispered to themself.

you got your stuff, blah blah blah. everyone else got their stuff, bleh. now time for the fun part aka the afterparty!!

your group met up at a random restaurant for lunch, then went to the twins' house to partyyyyyy!

everyone was still in their graduation gowns, singing their hearts out in the karaoke room. adding a small twist, the little band (4nemo, 5wirl whatever yall wanna call it) decided to play some tunes.

at last, it was your turn for karaoke.

"kazuha, care to join me for our favorite song?"

"of course, my dear."

you scanned the songbook until you saw (favorite song).

"yep, this is the one."

you selected some stuff, and the music started. you shared the microphone with kazuha, and the two of you sang your hearts out as the group watched and laughed. it was one of your last chances to hang out with them before heading your separate ways for college.

11:47 AM. (2 months later)

kazuha sat on the couch with your head in his lap. on your stomach rested jiji, whilst sesame was just on the floor trying to kill some cockroach.

"you're leaving in three days, aren't you?" kazuha whispered, his finger poking your cheek playfully.

"mhm." you hummed. "are you sure you don't want me to stay, kazu?"

"it's fine. you should follow your dreams... unless you want to stay because i'm your dream-" he teased.

"oh shut up." you sighed. "how about you help me pack?"
