"alright class, today we'll be going to the aquarium! after this, you may explore the town. be back by 5:00 PM. sharp!"

the tour guide greeted the entire class, then told them about the entire aquarium. "also, there will be ONE set of hidden clues around, which could lead to a private surprise!" he mentioned at the end of his boring speech. unfortunately no one was listening.

10:36 AM.

"damn these fish look good for sushi." you said, eyeing the medium-sized fish in the large tank.

"...y/n." said kazuha. some of the other third years from the another class cringed at you.

"sorry"

once again, your class was told to split into groups of at least three. you ended up with kazuha, kokomi, and gorou.

anyways (do i say that too much?) the four of you continued walking around the aquarium, taking notes of the fish you deemed interesting. unfortunately this was an assignment- you had to make a presentation about one interesting creature you found with your group. that drained most of the fun from this aquarium experience.

"hmm.. oh. didn't the tour guide say there'd be clues leading to a surprise?" kazuha asked.

"you actually listened to his boring speech? slay i guess." you replied.

"oh- so this is what that random paper is!" kokomi added, showing a small paper in her hands.

gorou read the clue.

aaa! sharks...

"this is gonna be easy." kazuha confidently remarked.

"i hope so.." gorou said.

after about an hour, your group found all the clues, leading to a hidden room with a pool. some random rich-looking people were also in this room.

"ohh- so this is what mr. yamamoto meant by private. this is a private reservation... probably pretty expensive. we got it for free, haha." kazuha commented as you took your seats.

"you know the tour guide's name too!?" you whisper-yelled. you either didn't listen at all, or kazuha listened too well.

"well of co-"

kazuha was interrupted by a sudden loud voice, coming from the speakers. "welcome! welcome to the private sea lions show! you folks are lucky... no one else knows about this show, other than you!"

"wait does that sign say splash zone!?" gorou asked.

"oh shit uh oh"

loud music started to play, and sea lions began entering the vicinity. the announcer introduced all the sea lions. "and this here.. his name is kazu! he may seem shy, but he's very capable!"

"PFFT- MEHAHAHA-" you silently cackled, turning and pointing to kazuha, who was too invested in the show to deal with your shit.

"piece of poopoo." he retorted.

"no you."

"guys, people are staring!" kokomi notified you and kazuha, immediately silencing said individuals.

the sea lions performed a whole bunch of tricks, leaving the audience in awe. "and finally, the last trick!" kazu the sea lion came close to the splash zone and did some sorta huge flip, basically showering the entire splash zone.

unfortunately, gorou developed a small cold after getting splashed by kazu the sea lion's tricks. he and kokomi had to leave a bit early.
