"Seojun wins!" Jugyeong's mother claps.
Hours had passed with the two making dumplings and finally the winner had been chosen.
Nari had never been so bored in her life watching the two make dumplings. Jugyeong looked close to passing out from how much she was hating every second of it, but alas her family was having the time of their lives watching the two handsome boys fight for their love.
Jugyeong had gotten up a few minutes after, excusing herself to her room for a few minutes, leaving Nari and the two boys there awkwardly until Suho got up minutes after to go talk to Jugyeong. Nari breathes out under her breath, why would they leave her with him? Alone? She feels like banging her head against the door.
The two awkwardly sit as the parents rant on about Seojun's dumpling masterpiece. Seojun thanks them with a small smile before turning to look at Nari, who's silently playing with her French tips, clearly avoiding any eye contact with him.
Immediately, a frown is apparent on his face, noticing just how far she's going to avoid him. "Nari what do you think?" He asks quietly, trying to start up a conversation with the girl.
Nari looks up with an agape mouth, not expecting him to try and speak to her this evening, seemingly too focused on fighting with Suho to notice her disinterest. She looks at the swan shaped dumpling and offers him a gentle smile that has his heart fluttering, "It looks amazing."
Jugyeong's mother, completely oblivious to the two's longing, claps her hands. "It does! Seojun, between you and I, Jugyeong and you are the better couple!"
Nari's gentle smile immediately drops, Seojun's sharp eyes looking at Jugyeong's mother in panic, he waves his hands in a passive manner, panic rising when he notices Nari looking away quickly. No, no, no...
"No, you've got it all wrong we're just friends!" Seojun chuckles worriedly.
"Oh nonsense!"
Nari clears her throat, catching their attention. "May I go check on Jugyeong and Suho?"
Jugyeong's mother smiles at the polite girl, nodding. "Of course, Seojun you can go with her and help Suho bring the table down. We'll get all this cleaned up."
Seojun nods and stands up, patting himself off as Jugyeong's mother begins to clean up the mess. Offering a hand to the girl, Nari looks at his smooth palm and sighs, reluctantly taking it and letting him help her up from her spot before she pulls her hand away from his as soon as she's standing.
