Personality Swap [Hetalia]

America & Japan

For some reason, I decided to bring a box of Tau Sah Pia for Japan. It was a present from an Asian country, whom I have strong relations with (politically). I had an extra box, so I decided to bring it for Japan. He might want to try something new for a change rather than his Japanese food. The trip wasn't long, and I could still remember the address of his house.

As I neared my destination I could see a foreign-looking car at the front. It looked very much Western. I walked past it and towards the front door. I opened the door, saying aloud,"Pardon for the intrusion."

It became a habit for me to greet that way whenever I visit Japan.

With the box carefully balanced on my hand, I took off my shoes with the other hand. It was unusually quiet, as I would usually hear at least the faint music of his... What is called again? Anime openings? Whatever it is, I didn't hear it today. (All that funky music of his is going to be the end of traditional music)

I decided to look at his room upstairs, and as I ascended the stairs I could hear talking. That gave me relief to know that he was okay. I continued till I reached the second floor. His room was the first on the left, and I could hear voices more clearly. There were two, Japan and one with an all-too-familiar accent I always hear at those International Conference. The loud one, always spouting nonsense like a superhero to protect the earth from global warming. That really stuck with me for some particular reason.

I knocked on the door, saying aloud,"Japan? It's me, China!" The door was then opened by the nation I once doted on, and something in his eyes were different. I saw a blond cowlick sticking out from behind him, and I immediately asked,"What is that Westerner doing here?" Japan answered,"He's here for a few days as his boss has business with mine."

I nodded, but noticed his voice was higher than its usual monotone. America wasn't smiling as I expected him to, which also made me wonder. I handed the box to the Japanese man,"A present from Malaysia." I received a wide smile as he took it,"Say thanks for me!" He placed it on the table with his other times - which included mangas, anime CDs, figurines and manga drafts.

He opened the box and popped one biscuit into his mouth, asking America as he chewed,"Want some?" America said before nodding,"I ask of you to only speak after chewing your food." He took one and ate slowly, being polite.

I raised an eyebrow at the unusual change of attitudes, and it was definitely drastic. I couldn't be bothered to ask, as I could practically hear Hong Kong playing with fireworks (not really, Macau called me and I could hear fireworks in the background).

A/N: Tau Sah Pia is a traditional biscuit with fillings, and trust me, they're delicious. I apologise for the slight involvement of my OC, Malaysia XD I have to since in my country, Tau Sah Pia are common. In Penang you can find a building with its history and also about the company which produces them.

Now enough of me, how about you guys? I've got quite a lot to do in both my online and social life bleh...

And do you want to hear something funny? I have this junior who clings to me at school, and at a hangout with another junior Joe, she showed me a photo she saved from FB which was a fanart of England and she told me to cosplay him. (The point is, she doesn't know that is APH England! She just saves any picture she likes, whether she knows the anime or not. I'm serious...) I bluntly told her,"I'm already cosplaying him." and she had quite a shocked face! She pleaded with me to tell who the character is, but I didn't. If she ever knew of Hetalia, I am doomed... I'll tell you more about her some other time...
