Poland & Lithuania

"Coz fabulous is like, amazing."

Was what I heard over the phone before it hung up. I was certain Poland was there when I called Lithuania, but the voice just didn't seem right. I tried calling again, but there was no answer.

The next morning Big Brother said that Poland and Lithuania weren't there with the fish he intended to purchase, causing him to complain that he now had no fish to sell. I thought, doesn't he have a large stock in the basement? But I didn't question him. I thought of visiting the two of them, of course bringing authentic Belgian waffles!

With everything ready, I set out the following day in hopes of seeing those two fine and healthy. It would be troublesome if Big Brother were not to have his fish to sell, despite the stock at the basement. Luxembourg offered to accompany me but I didn't accept; I'd rather not have Big Brother alone.

It was actually a plain and simple trip to Poland's place, which I expected them to be there. When I had reached, I knocked many a time but there was no reply. I used my phone to call Poland but it went straight to voicemail. I called Lithuania next, but straight to voicemail it went again. Frustrated, I booked a flight to the Baltic States. But meanwhile, I need a stay in a hotel.

The flight was delayed. I waited in the airport with an unopened book in hand, and in the other I held my phone attempting yet another call but failed unfortunately. These waffles can't stay fresh for long, and worse the weather would grow fungus on my waffles! By the time I was in Lithuania I had to throw away the waffles, truly sad for me...

This time I was lucky. I found Lithuania at his house with Poland.

With a few knocks Lithuania had the door open, then inviting me in. Poland was in the living room, and for a moment I thought he was fidgeting. Then I realised Lithuania had on himself an unusual fashion called cross-dressing. He wore a short skirt with tights, matched with a similar coloured blouse. In his hair laid a small pink bow, and his smile wider than I remembered.

I immediately asked,"Did something happened? You look like a Lithuanian version of Poland." "Nothing like, happened at all, Belgium." he replied, a valley girl accent to it. I turned to Poland, who gave me an all innocent look,"Anything wrong?" He had asked, his voice normal. I shook my head, though I was a little bit confused. It was as if they've switched!

I decided to ask,"Poland, why are you here?" He shrugged,"Had a bit of problem and I decided to rant a bit, with Lithuania listening to me as always whilst painting my nails." He raised his both hands, the back facing towards me,"He did quite a nice job, I'd say." "Thank you, Poland. You flatter me." Lithuania replied.

I didn't know whether to pursue further on what really happened or just leave it and wait till a miracle happens and they're back to normal. Really, I didn't know which choice to take. I took a third one.

"Say, Lithuania. I wanted to bring waffles but sadly they've gone bad on my trip here. Would you and Poland so kindly visit me the next time soon? And Big Brother would love to have his fish soon."

"Totally," he replied, smiling,"And would I have the honour of styling Lux's hair? His fringe needs a makeover." "You'll have to ask him yourself." I said.

By the time they came and I was ready with fresh waffles, they were back to normal thankfully. I don't know what magic or whatnot has caused this, but it's glad to see Big Brother happy (but not smiling).
