Aria looked at the note with the saddest look on her face. She grew up thinking her mother didn't love her and that her mother wanted to leave. She always had those good memories of her mother though.

When her mother would make her favorite food and let her help cook. Also, the times when her mother would teach her how to fight. Growing up she always ignored them because the thought of her mother not loving her outweighed all of the past.

"My Angel" was Aria's nickname because every Christmas she would put the angel trip topper on the tree. It was her favorite part of Christmas. Not only that but her father thought she was as beautiful as an Angel.

Aria closed her eyes and leaned her head on the wall. She remembered that day she came home crying from school because a little boy was bothering her. Tears rolled down her face as she remembered her mother's reaction.

"Listen, my little Angel, boys are like puppet masters. They will pull on your strings over and over again to make you dance but little do they know you can cut the strings. So baby I'm gonna need you to be like your mother and cut those damn strings. I know one thing for sure, your not anyone's puppet.."

Aria laughed as she broke down in tears. It hurt her ever since she lost her mother. It's hard being a teenage girl with no mother. Worse is not ever having anyone to talk to.

Growing up in a world that's so judgemental and you have no one to go to when the world gets tough. Aria grew up raising Max. She didn't mind raising Max but she also had to raise her father.

That was a lot on a 10-year-old little girl. No 10-year-old girl should even have to deal with that honestly. Aria wiped her tears and picked up the note from her brother.

She was kinda scared to read this since she was still an emotional wreck from her mother's note. Before she could pick up the note a realization came to mind. That note her mother wrote was written last month...

Was her mother still alive?? Luke said she was dead and that she was killed when Aria was a child. If her mother wasn't dead where would she even be? How would her mother even know where to find her. Aria was confused and was starting to stress out.

Her mother could be alive but even if she was alive wouldn't her first instinct be to come to her son's funeral. Or even better come to her fucking daughter.

Aria was pissed but she brushed it off and picked up the note again. When she opened it all the air got caught in her lungs. The date is right at the top. "August 18th,2017" which was yesterday but the sentence after that is what killed her.

"I'm still alive and I'm with mom..."
