Chapter 26

"Luke and Lucas already to me Max killed Luciano's son but they didn't tell me that I'm related to Alexander," Aria said standing up. She was starting to get furious with all these lies. She had a brother, she once had a mother, she had a father that loved her but it was all lies.

"Aria please just sit here and listen," Mathew said covering his face in shame. Aria looked at him and felt bad. She didn't know the true story and she kept blaming him for his past mistakes. She took a deep breath and sat down.

"Max killed Alexander because he was gonna kill you and max out jealousy. He never had a 2 parent home. You and Max grew up in one though. He hated that for you both of you. All he wanted was a loving mother and father. He couldn't even get a loving father though" Mathew said rubbing his chin.

"Luciano was still upset that Natalia left with me and married me. Instead of toughing up and being a man, he took his frustrations out on Alexander. Beat him until he was black and blue. Your mother tried countless times to save him. She tried everything, even as far as to kill Luciano herself" Mayhew said standing up and going to sit next to Aria. He saw that look of pain on her face and wanted to make her feel better. He didn't know how to but he would try his best.

"Your mother made a deal though, to protect Alexander. She would have to leave our lives until Luciano was dead." Mathew said and that caught Aria's attention.

"She loves Alexander?" Aria asked kinda confused. "Of course she did, that was her child after all," Mathew said looking at her. "The only reason Alexander didn't stay with us was that he would have killed Alexander. He wanted Alexander around him at all times to become a monster like he was" he said and looked down at the ground.

Aria was taking in all this information as she was still wondering one thing. "Why did you treat us like shit then Dad," Aria said. When he heard that he notice the pain evident in her voice. Something a father never wanted to fear.

He never meant to hurt the kids but he has to keep his promise to his wife. The promise that would keep the family safe. "I made a promise to your mother. I never meant to hurt you or Max. I just wanted to protect you all. Your mother had a plan on how to do that too" Mathew said taking Aria's hand and holding it tightly.

Aria looked down at their hands and immediately started crying. Growing up all she ever wanted was a moment for her father to tell her that he loved her. That was all she had ever wanted for herself To hear those words.

Mathew wrapped his arm around Aria and held her close to his chest. "I love you always and forever princess," he said rubbing her head. "I love you too Dad" Aria said gripping her shirt tight

Y'all I'm so sorry for not posting yesterday. My wifi went because were supposed to be moving and one of the movers knocked out the wifi box so I had to wait till today to post. I also know this is a short chapter but while I was writing I saw someone say that my book was horrible and a waste of time. I do understand my book may not be the best but I'm trying my absolute hardest to make it good for you. So after I read that I kinda lost motivation and I'm so sorry. I'll post more tomorrow.💕☹️
