Chapter 25

" Daddy !!" Aria screamed out. She was crying and hyperventilating but she managed to cry out for her father.

Mathew came running into the room to see his little girl on the floor holding her stomach. He ran near where her body was and picked her up. "What's wrong princess" he said sitting on the floor and holding her close to his chest.

"My stomach hurts really badly" she said crying harder and holding her stomach. "Shushhh I got you princess no need to cry" he said placing her head on his shoulder and rubbing her back.

Natalia ended up coming into the room at the sound of crying. She looked at the two on the floor and went over to them. "Calm down princess" Mathew said again while looking at his wife with a huge smile plastered on his face.

Natalia sat down on the floor and placed a hand on Aria's back. "Don't let your stomach make you seem weak Aria. It may hurt but you have to fight it" Natalia said and started humming her usual tune.

Aria eventually fell asleep as the pain slowly dissolved. It may not have dissolved fully but all she need was her parents to feel no pain at all. It was normal for her , whenever she felt pain she would scream and cry but as soon as she had her parents all she felt was peace.

Mathew stood up and placed Aria in her bed. "Sleep tight my princess" he said and as he was about to leave he noticed his wife hasn't gotten up to leave. "You not coming to bed honey?" He asked while looking at her.

"You know I have to leave her soon right" Natalia said while looking at Aria sound asleep in bed. "We can- we can find another way" Mathew said looking at his wife. "There is no other way. You will protect our children with your life" Natalia said as tears started flowing down her face.

"You must also teach them that they will be fine without us. So that when our sins catch up to us. They will be fine because they know how to handle themself already" Natalia said with so much pain in her voice.

"I'm sorry Natalia. This is all my fault" Mathew said rubbing his chin. "I was just jealous.." he said stepping closer to her. "I know it happened when we weren't together but it just hurt so much you know." He said crouching down next to her.

"That's why I'm not upset with you. I'm upset at HIM. He's ruining my family. I don't appreciate that at all but I guess he never learned to never mess with a very angry mother. Or to even mess with a mother at all. He hurt my children and in my book that is the greatest sin of them all" Natalia said turning to her husband and placing a hand on her husband cheek.

Mathew looked at her with a smile on his face. "I think it's time we pay him a visit" Mathew said and grabbed his wife's wrist and kissed her hand. "I understand that's your brother" Natalia said looking at her husband.

"And I understand that he's the father of Alexander" Mathew said and kissed down his wife's arm all the way to her neck. "But he must be killed" Natalia said leaning her head back and closing her eyes.

"Let's get to our room now honey, we have some planning to do" Mathew said picking her up and carrying her to their bedroom. "We have alot more then planning to do honey" Natalia said and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Mmm I'm so happy to be your husband"..

Mathew and Aria made it to the balcony and sat down on the chairs out there. "Start talking" Aria said trying to get straight to the point. "I'm sorry Aria , there was a lot going on with your mother." He said looking at her.

"That couldn't have been all so tell me everything that happened" Aria said starting to get Angry. "When you were younger I was an alcoholic. I was also addicted to gambling. I met at a casino one day but she was with my brother." Mathew said looking down at the grown.

"She was dating but she wasn't happy because he was abusing her. So I obviously stepped in and confronted him. I called him out on his abuse but he said he would kill me if I told anyone. I wasn't scared because I had fallen in love with your mother. I would have done anything for her at the time" Mathew continued with his story while Aria looked at at him in shock.

"So me and my brother made a deal. To gamble for her, if I won she would leave with me and if he won I would never be able to him or her again. I won of course but what I didn't know was that she was pregnant." Mathew said.

"But I was born in 1998. You told me you and mom met in 1996. I'm the oldest so it couldn't have been Max" Aria said looking at him confused."that's because it wasn't you or Max" he said.

"Then who was it" Aria asked. "It was the son of Luciano Martinez... The greatest mafia lord of all time. He was also my brother though.." Mathew said looking at Aria. "You have an older brother but he's dead now. Max killed him for your safety"he said looking at from her.

"I had an older brother..."
