Chapter 29

"Hey, Lucas," Max said as he was driving with Lucas in the passenger seat. They had finally wrapped up Emma's body and decided to dump her far far away from the house.

"What's up Max," Lucas said looking out the window trying to get his thoughts straight. He was about to dump his sister's body, he was feeling bad but he knew it was for the Greater good.

"Are you in love with Aria?" Max asked which made Lucas look over at him. "The thing with Aria. Growing up I was always attracted to her because she was around us. Her being there I found her so beautiful but when I turned 17 I just wasn't as attracted to her anymore" Lucas confessed.

"You took her virginity though?" Max said which shocked Lucas because he thought only he and Luke knew. "Luke told me one night because he was drunk and jealous," Max said laughing a little.

"Originally I didn't wanna take her virginity but Luke asked me to because he didn't wanna hurt her. I couldn't say no to Luke because he looked so hurt. You know Luke barely has self-control and it would kill him if he hurt Aria. I did love Aria but I fell in love with someone else." Lucas said while looking over at Max.

"Well, who is this someone else?" Max asked while looking at the road ahead of him. "Well it's Stephen" Lucas said starting to smile a little at the thought of his little crush.

"I knew it !" Max said shouting and looking over at Lucas. "How?!" Lucas said shocked because he thought he was being very discreet about his feelings for Stephen.

"Well, the way you looked at Stephen was the way I used to look at Emma. I used to look at Emma like she was the only beautiful girl in the world and when I saw you look at Stephen. I knew you had fallen out of love with my sister. I'm not mad at you and I know you were doing this to please like because you didn't want him to get hurt. I do think you should tell Stephen though. You have been closeted for the longest Honestly" Max said sounding heartfelt.

Max grew up having a sister and no brothers but being with Lucas made him feel like he had a brother. He wanted the best for Lucas but also the best for his sister. He didn't want Lucas to date Aria and he was truly in love with Stephen.

"I thought I was in love with Aria because I thought it was wrong to like the opposite gender. I also hurt Stephen. He had to sit there and watch me be in love with someone other than him. If he does feel the same way, do you think I ruined it" Lucas said and placed his hand on his heart as he felt so much pain in his heart? The thought of hurting Stephen killed him inside.

"Well, I think Stephen feels the same way. Maybe if you communicate with him and discuss your feelings with him you two can understand each other. Not only that but you have to tell Aria too, I think Aria knows though" Max said kinda laughing.

Lucas sat thinking in silence for a minute. He did love Stephen but he grew up having to protect Luke no matter what. He wanted Luke to be happy though. That's all he ever wanted for Luke because that's his brother.

It was finally time that he should do something for himself. His thoughts were interrupted though when he get a phone call. He picked up the phone and his heart immediately fell.

"What happened..."

"My mom taught me that we always pay for our sins, that may be true but sometimes we also cheat our sins. I learned my lesson about cheating on my sins as I grew up. Especially when I lost the person I loved the most to it. I look at my uncle and see what cheating and his sins did to him, I see the amount of pain he's in. Sometimes I sit there and wanna cry but I can't because I have kids. My kids are the ones I must protect though. All of the sins I have made over the years, my kids will eventually have to pay for. I learned something though from my tears of watching my mother fight and protect me. You should never mess with a mother. Messing with a mother may be your greatest sin of them all..."

In this chapter I wanted to focus a little on Lucas and Max's friendship but not only that but finally, tell you all who Aria will end up with. Some of you have gotten it right. I'm so sorry to all of Lucas and Aria's shippers☹️ but that's all from me.
