Tommy stayed out in Techno's garden most days.  He began to write short stories in a leather notebook sitting in the dirt among the potato sprouts.

Wilbur began to slowly let the depression overtake him.  No matter how he distracted himself, he couldn't forget his brother.  He may never see him again.

The devil hadn't shown himself in quite some time, which Wilbur almost found relieving.

Satan himself had seen him emotionally vulnerable.  And Jschlatt could use that to his advantage.  And threaten Tommy's life.

Wilbur refused to lose both brothers.

Tommy remembered the trip to the church with Technoblade.  Maybe sister Puffy was wrong, what if it was Techno who would be unlucky, not him or Wilbur.

Maybe it was Techno who needed the protection.

Tommy walked inside and saw Wilbur making dinner.  His older brother was doing so much more than he should have to be.

"There you are Tommy!  Can you set the the table please?"

Tommy nodded and grabbed three plates.  He set the table like he did every night.  For three people.  Three brothers.

Wilbur carried out the food, and almost cried when he saw it.

When the two finished eating, Wilbur began collecting dishes.

"Isn't that my job," Tommy asked.

"Why don't you just go clean your room.  I've been asking you for weeks now."

A mistake for the ages.

Tommy went to his room, and Wilbur began scrubbing the dishes.  Tommy grabbed a green bag that his best friend had gifted him, and began to pack the items he valued the most.

When night had fallen and Wilbur was asleep, he quietly tried to slip out of the house.

Key word: tried.

He closed the door a little too hard, waking his older brother.

Tommy bolted, and Wilbur raced down to the entrance to catch his brother.

But he was too late.

Tommy was outside.  He was in the dark night, in the world, where he may never be found.

But Wilbur wasn't losing both brothers.

He ran outside, and tried to chase after Tommy.

A/n: sorry for the lack of updates, work has been busy.  Then my dad went to get milk, and won't be back for 6 months (he works in the defense department in Iraq).  Then my cat whom was very special to me passed.

So I took a bit of a break.
