I'm back you beautiful fuckers

Wilbur woke up, still not able to see anything.  And wherever he was wasn't as comfortable as the last time he awoke, so he assumed he wasn't in Hell anymore.  Someone had grabbed him, so did whoever it was move him?  Where was he then?

"Wilbur," a groggy voice asked.

"Yeah, it's me Toms, go back to sleep," Wilbur whispered.

"No, you'll go away again."

"I won't go away, I promise.  Now get some sleep."

There was a small groan followed by soft snores, making Wilbur believe that Tommy hadn't been fully awake at first whatsoever.

What did he mean by 'you'll go away?'  Maybe he thought Wilbur was... him.  God he missed Techno.  He needed him right now.

No, he couldn't think about that right now.  Minutes ago he was in Hell, and he couldn't see jack shit.   Who brought him here?  What would he tell Tommy about the visual impairment?  Did Jschlatt know where was?  And why was he so willing just... let him lose his mind?

Wilbur sighed, and began trying to open his eyes and wave his hand around.  He could make out motion, and the large blob that was his hand, but everything looked gray, colorless, and fuzzy.  It was like being surrounded by smoke on a cloudy day.  He groaned and closed his eyes.

What had Eret even used, and how deep did they go to be able to blind him?  He knew it was a knife, so how sharp was it?

He felt Tommy roll over, and heard him giggle.  At least he was happy.  What Wilbur would give to be happily oblivious to everything.

"Hello," a soft voice called out.

They were outside, and didn't sound too old.  They didn't sound young either.

"Hello," the called again.  "I know you're around here, I was told to protect you."

Wilbur sat up, and looked in the direction of the door (hopefully, he couldn't really tell).  He heard their makeshift door open, and he quickly grabbed Tommy and jumped to his feet, waking the sleeping child once again.

"Tech, Wilby said I could sleep in today," Tommy groaned.

Tommy looked up, and saw his brother holding him in a death grip as he backed away from the door, and standing in the doorway was a tall creature, with legs that were backwards like goat, but was black and white, split down the middle.

There was a halo lying on his head like a crown, and his red and green eyes glowed in the dark homemade fortress, scaring the small boy to the core.

"There you are your highnesses!  I've been looking for you," the creature said.  "I've been sent to protect you!"

The creature smiled, and didn't try to move any closer so it didn't scare them.

"What is he talking about," Tommy asked his brother quietly.

"I don't know.  What are you talking about?!"

"Oh, I'm sorry!  My name is Ranboo, your mother sent me to protect you, Jschlatt is looking for you!"

"But... our mum isn't here," Tommy told the creature.

"Of course she isn't, she's... what's it called again..." Ranboo trailed off.

He held his hand close to one of his long pointed ears, and began to snap his fingers, trying to remember.

"Wilbur, I'm scared," Tommy muttered.  "He's scary."

"Don't worry, I won't let him hurt you," Wilbur reassured.

He was a little glad he couldn't see, because he how could he stay calm if he was panicked over... whatever was standing in the doorway.

"Asgard!  That's it!  You're mother is in Asgard!"

I wanted to use something other than 'heaven,' so they live in Asgard now.

"Are you sure you have the right people," Wilbur asked skeptically.

"Yeah, prince Tommy and prince Wilbur.  Technoblade came home a little bit ago too.  Why?"

"Wait, are we royalty," Tommy asked excitedly.  "I'll be like Wilbur's fairytales!"

"You're not royalty, you're a god," Ranboo said.  "And your mother is the most powerful of them all!"

"So I'm like Techno's fairytales," Tommy asked, even more enthused.

"Wait a damn minute, how could our mother be a god?  She died in childbirth, we buried the body!"

"I don't know... magic?  I mean, she is a goddess."

Ranboo shrugged, and Tommy broke free from Wilbur's grasp.  He began to jump around and cheer, shouting happily about this new development.

"Look, you said you needed to protect us.  From what," Wilbur asked.

"I told you, Jschlatt is looking for you.  And odds are, he won't rest until you're dead.  And he's dead," Ranboo pointed at Tommy.

That got the boy to stop jumping around.

"...and I'm dead," Ranboo said, pointing at himself.  "And everyone you know and love is dead."

"Even Niki and Tubbo," Tommy asked, scared.

"Even Niki and Tubbo."

Tommy almost broke down in tears, thinking of the two sweetest people he knew dead and gone.  Wilbur on the other hand was spiraling again, and for good reason.
