𝚆𝚑𝚎𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚍𝚎𝚟𝚒𝚕 𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚎𝚜 𝚔𝚗𝚘𝚌𝚔𝚒𝚗𝚐 (𝚂𝚌𝚑𝚕𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚋𝚞𝚛)

This double upload is my way of begging for forgiveness for forgetting ya'll.

The two brothers stood there, one staring at Ranboo, the other trying to.  He was actually staring at a clump of clothing and old blankets piled up in the corner, but it was the thought that counts.

"So, what do you do now," Tommy asked.  "Can you go protect Tubbo instead?"

"I'm sorry, it doesn't work like that."

"What if we go to Tubbo!  Then if anything happens, you're there," Tommy suggested excitedly.

"I'm sorry your highness, but it's far too dangerous for you to go out in public.  He'd find you easily!  For now we should wait here, I don't think he knows this place exists."

Oh shit.  Oh fuck!  Jschlatt very much does know this place exists, and he knows where it is!  Holy shit, he could show up any moment!

"Prince Wilbur, are you alright," Ranboo asked.

"No, I'm not alright!  And don't call me that, I'm not a prince, I'm just a regular person!"

"Wilbur-"

"Sir, if I may-"

"No!  Tommy, we are not gods, and Ranboo, he does know this place!  I was the one who showed him for Prime's sake!  And Technoblade didn't go to 'Asgard,' he wouldn't leave us like that!"

"SHUT UP!!"

Tommy and Wilbur looked at Ranboo in shock.  While they hadn't known him for long, he seemed like a very calm guy.  So they were quite surprised when he shouted.

"Your brother didn't leave you, and it's not like he had a choice!  And you've been talking to Jschlatt?!  And you've brought him here?!  What is wrong with you?!  Do you know what he is?!  Do you realize the amount of danger you have put yourself in," Ranboo shouted.

"Yeah, I know what he is!  And I also know he threatened to kill my brothers, so it's not like I had a choice in the matter!"

Everyone stood, silently.  Wilbur was spiraling, Ranboo was fuming, and Tommy was upset.  A kid his age shouldn't have to go through all of this, and yet here he was.

"He was going to kill me," he asked Wilbur quietly.

"No.  I wouldn't let him," Wilbur said angrily.  "I wouldn't even let him near you if I could."

Tommy looked at his brother, and noticed something.  Wilbur wasn't looking at him, nor Ranboo.  He was looking at a dirt mound on the floor Tommy had dubbed Mt. Dragonfly.  Then he remembered the scar across Wilbur's face.

"Wilby, can you see me," Tommy asked.

Wilbur looked at his younger brother, and sighed. 

"No.  I can't see you."

"Why did Techno leave us?"

"I don't know Toms.  I don't know."

Tommy looked at his brother, then the creature in the doorway, and began to cry.  Wilbur immediately rushed over and tried to hug Mt. Dragonfly, realized his mistake, and quickly went and hugged Tommy.

"Why did Techno leave us," he sobbed.  "He was big, strong, he could protect us!  He could do anything!  Where is he, I want him to come home!"

"You will see him again your highness, I swear," Ranboo promised.

"Just go away," Tommy shouted.  "Just leave me alone!"

Tommy pushed his older brother away, and raced out the door, faster than Ranboo was able to comprehend what was going on.  The two men looked at each other, and immediately ran after him.

But it was too late.  Tommy had disappeared into the thick woods, and Jschlatt's words rang through Wilbur's head, reminding him of the promise to kill his brothers if they ever found out.
