Song - She Knows - J. Cole, Cults, Amber Coffman

When I wake up the next morning I wake up to the sound of my phone ringing and I grumble in my still sleepy state. It better not be Steve again or I swear to god. I have not seen Nancy seeming as I was sleeping all night!

"Hello?" I answer.

"Hey y/n. It's me, Jonathan."

"Oh, hey I thought you were someone else. How is it going?"

"Not great. They uh found my brother. In the lake last night. He's gone."

"Oh. Oh my god, I'm so sorry."

"It uh it's okay I was just wondering if you would be willing to go with me and my mom to see my brother. It's mostly for her. She's convinced that it's not him and Will is in the walls. I need someone to go with me that won't drive me crazy."

"Oh yeah sure. What time were you thinking?"

"Well my mom wants to go as early as possible and it takes about 15 minutes to get to your house. Could you be ready in 20?"

"Yeah I think I can do that."

"Okay then I will see you soon."

"Yeah see you Jonathan."

I hang up the phone and jump in the shower I rush through my hair wash process and everything else and jump out of the shower basically running. I almost slip a few times but I make it out alive. There have been few times in my life where I have 20 minutes to get ready. I haven't quite mastered the art yet.

I throw on a easy outfit of baggy jeans and a graphic tea and I brush through my hair quickly. I don't dry my hair or anything so it will probably dry funky but I don't have time to make myself look like a supermodel today. Not that I usually look like one but still.

It's about 9:30 and that means that my parents are already at work which is good because I wont have to explain to them where I am going and why.

I'm ready just in time for when I hear a knock on the door. I open the door and immediately run back a few feet. "One second just let me throw my shoes on and we are out of here." I hop up in no time and before I know it I'm in Jonathan's car.

We arrive at the place we need to be and Joyce just about runs through the doors. They bring her back to where Will is but Jonathan says that he doesn't want to go so I stay with him in the lobby.

"How are you doing?" I ask.

"About as good as anyone would be in this situation."

"Sorry that was a stupid question."

"No its fine. I get it you don't usually know how to converse with someone when something like this happens. Everything is kind of all wonky in your head and you don't know what to say."

"Yeah."

The police chief Jim Hopper comes over and takes a seat next to Jonathan.

"How's your mom doing?"

"I don't know."

"How longs this stuff been going on? With the lights, and uh Will, and the thing in the wall?"

"Since the first phone call, I guess. You know, she's had anxiety problems in the past. But this, I don't know. I'm worried it could be... ugh, I don't know. She'll be okay. We'll be okay. My mom... she's tough."

"Yeah she is" Jonathan nods and looks down at his feet.

That is when Joyce rushes out and someone starts yelling at her.
