Liam was sitting on Niall's couch as both Niall and Harry looked at him

"So, Zayn did something you don't like, you can't talk about it, but whatever it was... Made you both break up"

Liam cringed and pulled his knees upto his chest "We were never a couple, we were just something to pass up each other's time"

Niall shook his head "Now I know you're lying"

Liam looked at him and frowned "What?"

Niall smiled weakly "He looks at you like you have the power to heal the universe at the tip of your finger"

Liam looked at him and furrowed his brows "What?"

"And you look at him like your happiness is in his hands and all you'll ever need is for him to hold you"

Liam stayed quiet then shrugged "I guess you are wrong..."

Liam hates the tea from coffee shops

He used to get them because they were within his budget and they kept him awake

But now he can't stomach it anymore

Zayn used to make him a cup of in a to-go cup every morning, he still doesn't know what Zayn put in his tea, he says its a secret he was taught by him mother

Liam threw the empty cup in the trash, took a deep breath then walked into his class

"You need to get you back to life"

Liam chuckled "I am alive"

Niall looked at him "You've been living from couch to class then class to couch"

Liam shrugged "It's not bad"

Niall rolled his eyes "Sure" Niall's phone suddenly rang and he groaned "Give me a minute" He said then walked away

Liam nodded and looked into the restaurant but stopped when he saw Zayn

He was sitting inside with a woman, she had a hand on his face and he was smiling

Liam quickly turned away, but it was too late, Zayn saw him looking

Eventually the door opened and Liam looked towards it, his breath caught in his throat when he saw Zayn

"Are you ok?"

Liam shook his head "Don't ask, I don't want you to care"

Zayn rolled his eyes "Too late, what's wrong?"

Liam shrugged, and Zayn sighed "Liam. You shouldn't be sad"

Liam looked at him "Why?"

Zayn looked at him "You were the one who said we were nothing... You should move on, do whatever you want"

Liam looked at the lady then at Zayn "Are you happy?"

Zayn shook his head "It doesn't matter"

It got quiet between them then Zayn sighed "She's my sisters best friend"

Liam looked at him "What?"

"She's my sisters best friend"

Liam stayed quiet then felt a hand on his, he turned to Niall who mouthed 'Let's go'

And when Liam turned around, Zayn was gone
