Zayn picked him up, and just like when Liam left him, he leaned ahead and kissed his cheek

Zayn smiled and kissed his boyfriends forehead, getting a small laugh from Liam when he kissed his neck

"I love you" Liam whispered against Zayn's ear

Zayn wrapped his arms around Liam's waist tapped Liam's nose

"No Shits and giggles?"

Liam laughed and shook his head "Too many actually"

Louis, Harry and Niall looked between both "I still understand the shits and giggles thing"

"Nobody does"

Liam smiled "I'm yours" rubbing his hands on Zayn's cheeks

Zayn closed his eyes and relaxed against Liam's hands

Zayn looked at Liam "Promise me you won't end up running away?"

Liam put his hand on his heart "Cross my heart on all the giggles"

Zayn laughed but blushed and looked at his hands "I uhh... I never believed I'd survive long enough to have someone, so, in some of my happiest dreams, I-"

Liam smiled and nodded "I want to have a family... I know, it's stupid, I should be grateful, but-"

Liam covered Zayn's mouth "Shhh, I get it" Zayn blinked "Baby, you don't have to explain, ok?" Zayn nodded "Now, I'm going to ask you questions and you answer with a nod or shake your head, understand?" Zayn nodded

"Do you explain because you want to?" Zayn slowly shook his head "You know you don't have to right?" Zayn nodded "Do you feel like you have to?" Zayn slowly nodded "I'm going to uncover your mouth and I'd like you to explain why you think that, ok?" Zayn nodded

Liam uncovered Zayn's mouth, but before Zayn could explain, they heard a lot of screamed

Zayn immediately fell to the floor, covering Liam with his body as shots were fired, almost hitting them

Louis rushed into the room, Zayn quickly kissed Liam's head as his eyes were wide

Liam didn't get a chance to say anything before him, Niall and Harry were stuffed into a car and driven off

When Zayn walked in, he ran to Liam, Liam stood up and hugged Zayn tightly

"Are you ok?" He said, touching all over Liam

Liam cupped his cheeks "The doctor checked me over. Are you ok?"

Zayn looked into Liam's eyes as their lips met, ignoring all their friends, Zayn walked up the stairs holding Liam against him

When they reached their room, in the dark, Liam unbuttoned then pushed Zayn's shirt off of his shoulders

Zayn kissed his neck as he backed Liam up against the window

Liam shivered at the sensation of Zayn's lips on his skin. His eyes closed as he felt Zayn's hands slide down his sides and onto his hips. He felt the heat radiating off Zayn's body as he stepped closer, their chests pressing together.

They came down hours later, freshly showered and their friends didn't say anything as Zayn refused to let Liam's hand go

Louis didn't even joke, because he knew what Zayn needed, and he wasn't going to get in the way of Zayn getting it

"Who was it- who shot at you both?" Harry said

Liam had a feeling about who they were and he looked at Zayn.

Zayn let out a deep breath "Zack and Esther"

Zack and Esther looked at the video of Zayn and Liam walking together

Then Liam ran, and Zayn quickly ran after him, caught him and kissed him
