"Liam"

Liam looked up and nodded "Sorry, yes?"

His advisor blinked then frowned "Are you alright?"

He nodded "Yes, of course, just thinking"

She slowly nodded "Is your fiancé doing alright?"

Liam weakly shrugged "Didn't want to leave him this morning, but had to."

She gave Liam a weak smile "Sorry dear" She cleared her throat and looked down at the papers in front of her

"Alright, let's see. You missed a week for all of your courses, and that included a test in one of them"

Liam nodded "Yeah, but my professor said he's going to allow me to do the test one I get the stamp of approval... From you"

She pulled off her glasses and looked at Liam "For that, the university and I will need a proof of death"

Liam cringed, but nodded "When do you need it?"

She shrugged "The sooner the better"

Liam was standing outside of the law building in his university when Zayn arrived

Wearing black on black with a file in his hands, he walked towards Liam and everyone looked at them with wide eyes

Zayn pressed a kiss onto Liam's temple and they walked in together, they walked towards Liam's advisors office

Zayn gave her the proof she wanted, and he slowly nodded as she explained why then she said-

"We do apologise on your fiancé's behalf"

Zayn then stopped and looked at Liam who forced a smile, he then took Liam's hand and nodded before he turned to the advisor looking at both

"No worries, all is forgiven"

"Fiancé, hmm??"

Liam blushed and put his bag down "It's the only card that I was allowed to pull that I knew would give me a thumbs up"

Zayn hummed and rubbed the area between his eyes

Liam walked towards him and kissed Zayn's cheek "How many more days off do you have?"

Zayn shook his head "I don't. I went back to work today"

Liam pulled away and frowned "What?"

Zayn shrugged "I didn't want to be alone"

Liam's shoulder fell "If you told me, I could've asked Louis to come and stay with you"

Zayn shook his head "I'm fine, babes"

The door opened and Louis walked in "C'mon now"

Zayn furrowed his brows "What?"

Louis rolled his eyes and forced Zayn to stand up "Liam needs time with his friends, and couples who spend too much time together end up insane"

Liam frowned "What-"

Louis did a 'zip-it' motion, then smiled at Zayn "Cmoooon. Insanity time"

Zayn's shoulders fell and he sighed, he turned to Liam and rubbed his cheek then kissed him

Liam smiled and kissed Zayn back

"I love you" Liam whispered and Zayn smiled

"Me too Jaan, I love you too"
