When Zayn was 13, he started to feel eyes on him all the time. He hated it.

He complained to his parents who in the beginning, didn't believe him

Until he refused to even walk to Louis' house alone when they realised how serious this is

They went to the police, Zayn sat down across from the police officer and explained everything

Instead of telling Zayn he'd help, laughed, told him it's probably the games he's been playing or the movies he's been watching

His parents got annoyed, because their son, who would usually wait for the time he could rush to see his best friend

Now refused to even open the curtains and refuses to sit in a room if the curtains are open

He genuinely believed he was going crazy, his bedroom window met the woods at the back of their house, he hated it and asked his parents for another room

His sister, seeing the state of distress her younger brother was in, immediately agreed to switch with him

When she saw how slightly more relaxed he was, she didn't regret it. Not one bit.

A few days before Zayn's 14th birthday, she sat down with him and asked him if he was Ok with her bringing in people he doesn't know

Telling him she'd like to introduce her partners to her favourite person

Zayn smiled, frantically nodded and hugged his sister, she hugged him back tightly

Though, Zayn still had a bad feeling, but he didn't voice it. He wanted his sister to be happy

She brought in 2 people, a girl and a boy, the boy introduced himself as her boyfriend to her parents, and the girl introduced herself his sisters best friend

But later, she explained that he was her boyfriend, and the girl was also her girlfriend.

Zayn was confused, the guy ruffled his hair and said 'You'll underhand someday' while the girl hugged Zayn tightly

And Zayn then excused himself, saying he has to meet up with Louis

He did go to Louis' house, but he mostly stayed quiet was was thinking to himself

At 14, Zayn got his first boyfriend, and the first person he told was his sister

Yet, he didn't expect the scolding he'd get from Esther and Zack

He was taken a back, as was his sister. They told him he's too young, that he should wait, and he shouldn't jump into a relationship

Zayn then frowned and told them it's none of their business, that he's know his boyfriend for years, they were friends before they got together

Though, Zayn's relationship didn't last long, the next day, his boyfriend told him he no longer wants to be in a relationship, and he doesn't want to be friends with Zayn either

Zayn wanted an explanation, he wanted to understand why, but he got none of it
