"♪ ...today was crazy but, tonight the city is ours ♪" The five finished singing. Logan then cheered, smacking Carlos in the face, resulting in the boy fall to the floor. Gustavo then made his way into the studio where the group was at.

"Gustavo, the song is great." Kendall said, looking down at Lilly and sending her a wink. She had come up with the idea and wrote it with Gustavo.

"Ehm, of course it is great. I wrote it." Gustavo said. Lilly then coughed and sent a small glare at the producer. "Lady and I wrote it." He corrected, noticing the glare. "But the band isn't great. What's missing is the secret rock and roll ingredients." Gustavo continued.

"Hair mousse." James smiled.

"Chocolate mousse." Carlos piped up.

"Spandex? Please don't say spandex." Logan pleaded.

Gustavo then put an arm around the boy. "The bad boy." He announced. "The ill-tempered rebel with a flair for synchronized dance. One of you has to be it. I say it's Kendall." He continued, making Lilly snort as they all looked at Kendall.

"Gustavo, why do we need a bad boy?" Kendall asked.

Gustavo only snapped his fingers as Kelly held up a phone. "Gustavo, it's Griffin. The band needs a bad boy. Bye." They all heard a voicemail play.

"He's driving me crazy!" Gustavo exclaimed in annoyance. "But he's also right, because the bad boy is a rock and roll tradition." Gustavo continued.

They all made their way out of the studio and out into the hallway, stopping by a Boyquake poster. "Notice the back turned to the rest of the band. Bad boy." He said, pointing to a member that was in an orange jumpsuit.

Then they moved over to a Boy Blast poster. "Notice the back turned, the dark clothing and the scowl. Bad boy." Gustavo explained, pointing at another member.

"But there can only be one bad boy per group, as learned from the bad boys experiment of '95." Kelly explained as she showed the group a poster of the band.

"Didn't sell a single CD." Gustavo exclaimed.

"But we're best friends. We never turn out backs on each other." Kendall argued.

"No." "Not gonna happen." The other boys and Lilly agreed, shaking their heads.

"Then let me let you in on another rock and roll secret. The bad boy is also the most popular member of the band, makes the most money, dates the hottest models, and always gets the girl." Gustavo explained.

At that, Logan, Carlos and James all started speaking over each other. "I can be bad." "I'm so bad." "Look at my back. Look at my back." They all pushed and shoved, trying to pose as the bad boys on the posters.

The five had gone back to the Palm Woods. Kendall and Lilly trailed behind the three idiots that were now dressed in black and had sunglasses on.

"Whoo!" Logan yelled as he opened the door to the apartment, making Mrs. Knight scream. "Wassup, mama Knight?" He said as he, Carlos and James passed by Mrs. Knight.

"Idiots, right." Lilly whispered to Kendall as they walked into the apartment. Then she heard screaming coming from outside.

"Definitely. If anyone asks, we don't know them and they followed us home." Kendall whispered back as he closed the door behind him. The two sighed, watching their friends behavior.

"You like that? Yeah." James said as he failed to crush a water bottle.

Mrs. Knight turned to look at Kendall and Lilly who had walked up to her. "Gustavo says one of them has to be a bad boy." Lilly explained as the other three posed.
