The inhabitants of apartment 2J had all woken up early in the morning, the band having to perform on the morning news, all walked into the production center.
"Can you believe this?" Carlos breathed out as the make-shift family walked in front of the stage where the band was set to perform.
"We're performing on live TV." James beamed.
"Can you believe it's 5:00 A.M.?" Logan groaned, dragging along his baby sister, who looked like she could drop at any second.
Kendall let out a yawn. "Why do early morning shows have to shoot so early in the morning?" He asked, supporting his mother, who was practically asleep.
"Don't wake her." Katie said to her brother, noticing how he was about to move their mother's head from his shoulder. "She hasn't had her eight hours of sleep yet." The young girl explained.
"Big Time Rush. Huge fan. I'm Jane Kennedy, the producer." The woman said, walking up to the group. "And welcome to A.M. L.A., L.A.'s number one morning show." Jane explained, letting out a small chuckle. "Come on." She continued and gestured for the group to follow her. "That is L.A.'s number one morning host, Miles Bainbridge, warming up L.A.'s number one teleprompter." She explained with a bright smile.
"No, I'm pretty sure Los Angeles is just one word." Miles said.
"Did he say Los Angeles is one word?" Lilly mumbled to her brother, who only patted her head, trying to wake her up.
"Come on." Jane said as the group followed, Kendall following slowly due to his sleeping mother on his shoulder. "And this is the green room." Jane said as the group walked into the room. "Where you can relax, eat, and meet our other guests like, actor environmentalist, Ed Begley Junior." The woman continued as four out of the five teens rushed to the food table in the room.
"Hey, guys. I'm here to promote my new line of environmentally friendly-" Ed tried explaining, but was cut off.
"Keep it fresh for the show, Ed." Jane said, offering the man a smile. "We are so excited to have BTR on A.M. L.A. And I just know that our three million viewers will be excited too." Jane explained to the five best friends as a woman walked up to her, showing her a tablet.
"Well, we are very exited to be here." Kendall piped up.
"Yeah, the show's running long. You guys are cut. Wake up mommy and get out." Jane said rudely to the group and walked out of the room.
"Harsh." Ed said to the group. Logan and Carlos had spat out the food they had in their mouths, while Kendall and Lilly looked at James, who had froze in shock.

"What just happened?" Lilly asked, now fully awake.
"The official term is, you got bumped." Ed explained to the five teens.
"Leave me out of this. I'm on level 12 of castle bashers, and I have to get my four knights to the ring of fire." Katie said to the five teens, not looking up from her video game.
The five best friends looked at each other and quickly ran out of the room. "Wait, wait, wait, wait." The five spoke over each other, catching up to Jane, who turned to look at them with a bored expression.
"What do you mean 'cut'?" Logan asked.
"It means I have to cut time from my show and you were it." Jane said, holding up a document.
James let out a small laugh. "Wait, but being on live TV is number seven on my list of things to do before I'm 20." He explained, receiving looks from Kendall and the Mitchell siblings.
"You... don't have a list." Logan and Lilly spoke together, glancing at Jane.
"Oh, I have a list." James said, taking out a notepad.
