Six teens sat patiently in apartment 2J. The five members of Big Time Rush each held poppers while Jo watched her phone anxiously. Eventually, Carlos cracked. "This is so exciting!" He beamed.
"I know! I can't believe you're up for 'Emily' in the new Chauncy Jackson film!" Logan exclaimed.
"Jo Taylor starring in 'Chauncy Jackson and the Magic Gallows'." Kendall said.
"It's amazing!" Lilly beamed, lightly nudging her girl best friend.
"I know. I've read every book in the series." Jo said and lightly nudged Lilly back. "Thanks for the books, by the way."
"Yeah, and every actress in town wants this role." James commented.
Carlos let out a small chuckle. "It'd be awful if they didn't hire you." He said.
"Carlos." The other four band members said when they noticed the look on Jo's face.
"I mean, to get this close to a role of a lifetime, and not get it." Carlos continued.
"Carlos!" The four yelled.
"Guys! I'm fine if I don't get the part. I just want the phone to ring!" Jo exclaimed, all six looking at the phone once again. But they all screamed when it rang not even a second later.
"Get it! Get it! Get it!" The five best friends yelled over each other, gesturing to the ringing phone.
Jo quickly looked at the group before answering. "Hello? Uh-huh.. I got the part!" Jo spoke, making the five cheer, pulling the triggers on their poppers before quickly grabbing other one. "It's a three movie deal?!" Jo said in shock while the group cheered again with their poppers. "It's shooting in New Zealand for three years." She continued. The group cheered again, but four stopped when they realized what Jo had said. "You want me to leave this week?"
"Oh yes!" Carlos cheered, not having heard what Jo said while the other three boys looked between Lilly and Jo. "Ohh..." Carlos hummed, stopping his cheers.

"Oh... oh... Really? Okay, bye." Jo said, hanging up.
"So, what'd they say?" Lilly asked.
"My agent said that I can't do the movie if I can't get out of my New Town High contract." Jo explained.
"But if you do get out of the contract, then you go to New Zealand for three years, and your friendship is-" Carlos pipped up.
"Carlos!" The other five yelled, making the boy accidentally trigger his popper.
"Sit." Both Kendall and Logan said, pushing Carlos down to the couch.
"We'll find out more after I talk to my agent." Jo said.
Lilly nodded with a half smile. "Just don't keep me waiting to long, or I'll go crazy." She joked.
"Don't worry, I won't. Quick good-bye hug." Jo said as she and Lilly hugged.
"I'll see you later." Lilly said, watching her best friend walk out of the apartment.
"She's gonna need us this week." Logan said to the other three boys.
"She'll also need my list of girls to find her new best friend." James commented.
"And hugs." Carlos added, all four smiling while extending their arms out to Lilly.
"No, no, and just from Doll." Lilly said, falling into her boyfriend's embrace.
"Ha!" Kendall mocked the other boys, who let their arms down. "And remember, Jo might not be leaving, so we'll still have a happy Lills." The boy continued, receiving a grateful smile from Lilly.
