Eventually, the five regrouped, giving their friends and the crowd of teenagers a performance. But as soon as they finished singing, Mrs. Knight immediately drenched her five teens in sunscreen. "Oh, no, no." "Oh! Mama Knight!" The five yelled over each other, trying to shield themselves to no avail.
Mrs. Knight let out a breath, putting down the water guns she used. "My work here is done. If you need me, I'll be on a beach chair, catching up on my reading." The woman said. She pointed the water guns at the crowd, who all gasped and stepped back. Mrs. Knight looked at her children once more, then walked away.
"Can this day get any worse?" Kendall complained.
An older man then ran up to the group of five. "Kendall! Ah, there you are. I just remembered what I forgot. A bad guy always shows up halfway through the movie to beat you up." The man explained.
"What!" The taller boy cried out.
"Wo-how! It's just not your day, babe." Lilly commented, patting her boyfriend on the back.
The sounds of engines revving caught the groups' attention, who turned around, seeing a trio climbing off their four-wheelers. "So, you're the dead man who stole my Sandy." The trio's leader said, glaring at Kendall.
"Well, your psyco girlfriend's the one that started hitting on Kendall and can't seem to take a hint." Lilly retaliated.
"Shut up, shut up, you're making it worse. Now stand right behind me." Logan said to his baby sister as he dragged her behind him, whispering the words to the tune of 'Pop Goes the Weasel'.
"Prepare to get pummeled!" The guy yelled, making the five band members jump.
Kendall turned to look at the older man, who was standing behind the five teens. "I told you it was a magical beach." The man smiled, wrapping his arms around Logan, Lilly and Kendall.
Sandy then ran up to the five. "Sandy, Sandy, Sandy, oh." Kendall groaned as the girl wrapped her arms around him. Logan winced, immediately holding back his baby sister, fearing that she might actually kill someone.
"Look Tad, it's over. Kendall and I are in love and we're gonna make a life together." Sandy said.
"Not a true thing." Kendall immediately said, looking between Tad and Lilly, mostly trying to reassure Lilly.
"It's time for Tad to get bad!" Tad exclaimed, he and his buddies started to walk forward. Logan and Lilly shared twin laughs at the guy's rhyme while the rest of their friends stepped forward to defend Kendall.
The older man stepped between both groups. "Hold on, gang." The man said, stopping both groups. "You gotta settle this like men. With a surf contest or a dance off." He suggested. Both groups looked at him in confusion. "No?"
"No."
"This isn't over Hollywood." Tad said, glaring at Kendall before getting on his four-wheeler, his buddies following.
The crowd behind the band members dispersed, going back to what they were originally doing. "Oh, Kendall. You're so brave, the way you fought for me." Sandy said.
"Hey, if you need us, we'll be up on the bluff." Carlos said, gesturing to the beach house.
"We're only 800 paces away from our treasure." Logan added, taking the map out of his pocket. He and Carlos cheered, high-fiving each other. "If you hurt my sister any more, you're dead." He whispered to Kendall before running off with a cheering Carlos; both ignoring their leader's protests.
"And if you need me, I'll be in love with a mermaid." James said and ran off as well.
"James, please don't go. James, help! Please help!" Kendall called after his friend.
