It had been almost a week since Lilly had told the boys about the pregnancy. And she had also gotten around to telling her girl best friends about the baby- which definitely went as she had expected.

Safe to say, Lucy was right about the boys starting to treat her like she was made of glass. The young blonde didn't like it, but couldn't do anything about it, though she would never admit that she actually liked how they were treating her with delicacy.

Currently the five teens were at Rocque Records, despite it being earlier than they would've liked. And they were working on harmonies as punishment for flooding one of the bathrooms. Eventually, Lilly felt her phone vibrate in her pocket which gave her the excuse to leave.

The blonde smiled, walking out into the hallway, seeing her mother's contact pop up on the screen. "Hey momma, what's up?" Lilly answered.

The blonde's smile slowly fell when she heard her mother crying. "Sweetheart? Where's your brother?" She heard her mother ask.

"We're both at the studio- Mom, are you okay?" Lilly asked, getting worried for her mother.

"Honey... You and your brother need to come home. It's your father. He's in a coma." Mrs. Mitchell spoke.

Lilly felt her breath catch in her throat and the phone slip from her hands. 'This can't be happening'. Lilly thought, sliding down the wall while trying to take deep breaths.

"Hey, Li, you might wanna come back or- What happened?" Logan asked, immediately kneeling next to his sister, noticing the dropped phone before pocketing it.

"We have to leave." Lilly whispered.

"What? You do know that Gustavo can and will kill us if we leave, right?" Logan said, worrying for his sister.

"Call mom on the way, but we have to leave." Lilly said, holding back tears. With that, she stood and dragged her brother down the halls of Rocque Records.

"...Yeah, we'll be there as soon as we can." Logan spoke quietly into his phone while he and Lilly made their way to apartment 2J. "Love you too." He said, hanging up.

"I texted Kelly, she got us on a last minute flight back to Minnesota, but we have to leave now." Lilly said, opening the door to the empty apartment. She figured it would be since they left the other boys at the studio, Mrs. Knight had errands to run and Katie was stuck at school.

"Then pack a quick bag." Logan responded automatically, both quickly walking down the hall and into their rooms.

Lilly quickly wiped away a stubborn tear that fell, grabbing a duffel bag and shoving her clothes, charger and other items in before walking back out. Slinging her bag over her shoulder, she grabbed a sticky note while Logan grabbed their important documents. "Ready?" The younger Mitchell asked, sticking the note on the fridge.

"Yeah, let's go." Logan nodded, slinging his own duffle bag over his shoulder before holding onto Lilly's hand, the two exiting the apartment.

"Okay, next time I say we ditch those two and let them handle Gustavo on their own." James complained as he, Kendall and Carlos entered the apartment hours later. The taller boys flopped down on the couch while Carlos b-lined it to the fridge.

"Agreed." Came the shared response from Kendall and Carlos.

"What are you guys agreeing with?" Katie asked, having entered the apartment as well.

"That we're going to ditch LiLo at the studio next time since they ditched us." Kendall explained.

Humming in response, Katie walked down the hallway. Meanwhile, Carlos, who had been rummaging through the fridge for a snack, finally noticed the sticky note with Lilly's handwriting on it. "Uh, did LiLo say where they were going?" Carlos asked, rereading the note again and again.
