Esha Ivory Dracula

"If you would follow me." Jax nods and follows close behind as I make my way through the house.

I stride into the infirmary and begin to set up the items I will need, "Why are we here?"

"I need a blood sample so that I can tell you if you will need to feed on blood as I or a hemophage would." As I speak to him I setup my area, grabbing a needle and tubes to hold the blood.

He whispers softly, almost as if he was hoping I wouldn't hear him. I knew he didn't want to hear if it was true. "So you're full blood hemophage?" His voice holds sorrow and defeat in it.

"No, but I've found that when my hemophage blood does mix fully with whatever other blood I have in me I will still be able to walk in the sun, though I will have to be killed as a hemophage would, silver will not effect me as it would them."

He speaks as I disinfect the area I will be drawing blood from, "How do you feed?"

"Abhiraj, Raja's younger brother, allowed me to feed from him."

"He's wear...isn't that dangerous? Couldn't he have turned out like me?"

I push the needle into his arm as we speak to each other, "No, you were made this way by injection of a mix of blood from a vile. In order for he and I to create that I would have to give him my blood as well. That would mix our blood but he and I never fought together so there was no reason for me to give him my blood."

"You would have if he was injured, wouldn't you?" He knows me better than most but not as much as he would like to.

I nod as I take the last blood filled tube off the end of the needle before taking the needle out of his arm. "Yes, hold that for a second." I place a cotton ball over the area the needle had been in.

He nods and holds it as I begin running my tests. "Why?"

As I am absorbed in the blood and tests in front of me I answer. "Why what?"

"Why do you fight alone? Why would you take the chance of turning someone into whatever I am?"

I then look at him for just a moment before I go back to the tests, "So no one gets harmed and because I can control and take responsibility of my actions. I would keep a very close eye on whomever I give my blood to." I turn around with a slight smile as he sighs and nods to my response, "Don't look so glum, I have good news for you."

"What's the news?" At that he perks up and look at me.

"I cannot reverse the process but you do not need blood to live." He nods slowly waiting for my good news, "Also you are far more human than lycan or hemophage."
