A week has past as the Trio proceeded onward, trying to find the other horcruxes and figuring out how to destroy them. While they roamed, Hermione couldn't help but feel like she was being watched. She wouldn't be surprise if Scabior was somewhere she couldn't see him, spying on her. She was still struggling to understand her emotions for him. On one hand, she hates his guts for being a Snatcher but then at the same time, she felt a sense of excitement every time he's around and found herself yearning for his touch. She knew it was wrong of her to feel such emotions towards him but it just felt so right at the same time. She never expected... never dreamed of herself to be fully attracted to a dangerous and wild Snatcher.

Nor... did she ever expect what she had witness later that night.

She was cutting Harry's hair when suddenly it popped in her head. The answer to what they needed to destroy the horcruxes.

"Oh my god!" Hermione shouted while she scurried over to her desk where she had her books all located.

"What?" Harry asked her.

"I'll tell you in a minute." She claimed as she began searching through each of the pages to find what she was learning for to confirm what she thought.

"Maybe you can tell me now?" Harry suggested to her. Hermione turned her head to Harry.

"The Sword of Griffindor... it's goblin made." Hermione answered to him as he went looking through.

"Brilliant!" Harry answered.

"No you don't understand. Dirt and rust have no effect on the blade. It only takes whatever makes its stronger." Hermione explained to him. Harry looked bewildered at her. Hermione sighed before explaining to him how when he destroyed the the diary, he used the fang of the monster and how the sword was now filled with its venom which she then explained why Dumbledore left it to Harry. Harry finally grasped what she was saying.

"Hermione you are brilliant! There's only one problem..." Harry started when the lights dimmed, causing them to turn their heads to see Ron walking up to them.

"The sword was stolen." Ron answered in a uneasy tone that made Hermione cringe a bit, "Yeah I'm still here. But you two carry on. Don't let me spoil the fun."

"What's wrong?" Harry asked on. Hermione sensed something was off and didn't feel right about it as she watched as the sense began to unfold before her, unable to say anything.

"Wrong? Nothing's wrong. Not according to you, anyway." Ron told him.

"Look if you got something to say don't be shy. Spit it out!" Harry ordered him.

"Alright. I'll spit it out. But don't expect me to be grateful just because now there's another bloody thing we have to find." Ron yelled back.

"I thought you knew what you signed up for?"

"Yeah! I thought I did too."

"Well, look, I'm sorry but I don't quite understand," Harry started as he stood up from the table and headed over to Ron, "what part of this isn't living up to your expectations? Did you think we were going to be staying in a five star hotel? Finding a horcrux every other day? You thought you'd be back with your mum by Christmas?"

"I just thought after all this time, we would have actually achieved something. I thought you knew what you were doing. I thought Dumbledore would have told you something worthwhile. I thought you had a plan!"

"I told you everything Dumbledore told me and in case you haven't noticed we have found a horcrux already."

"Yeah and we're about as close to getting rid of it as we are to finding another." Ron shot at Harry. Hermione finally found her voice as she walked up towards Ron, reaching out to the locket.

"Ron! Take the locket off." she told him as he was trying to push her hands away from him, "You wouldn't be saying any of this if you hadn't been wearing it all day."

"Do you know why I listen to that radio every night? To make sure I don't hear Ginny's name... or Fred's or George's or Mum's..."

"You don't think I'm not listening too? You don't think I know how this feels?"

"NO YOU DON'T KNOW HOW THIS FEELS! YOUR PARENTS ARE DEAD! YOU HAVE NO FAMILY!" Ron shouted. It was then Harry and Ron began throwing punches.

"Ron! Harry! Stop! Stop!" Hermione pleaded with them as she reached out and try to get them off each other. However, admit the fight, Hermione felt her face swung to the side as a sharp pain rushed through her face. The entire tent suddenly became quiet as she felt Harry's and Ron's eyes on her. She reached her hand up to feel the stinging increase as her fingers crossed her cheek. Hermione could form words out of her mouth, but found herself grabbing hold of Scabior's coat and rushing out of the tent as fast as she could without looking back even as Harry and Ron called her back.

Hermione roamed the forest, tears streaming her eyes as she crossed her arms around her chest. She still was in disbelief that happened. Though she knew it was all the horcrux's fault, she still felt herself being upset with them even though it was slightly irrational. Just as the freezing bitter winds began to make her think of turning around and go back, she felt a pair of arms wrapped around her waist.

"Guess who beautiful," Scabior's voice echoed into her ears as his lips busied themselves to her neck. She felt herself being turned around. Her eyes locked on Scabior's grinning face till it started to sluggishly drift down till his entire demeanor looked like he was about to kill someone.

"Where did you get that bruise?" he asked, his voice shifted from his smooth velvet tone to a more firmer one that sent goosebumps down her spine.

"We-- we just got into a fight. One of my friends was wearing one of the horcruxes You-Know-Who created for a bit longer than we agreed on and he started to get influenced by it. Said and did some things he's not proud of." Hermione stated to her. Scabior opened his mouth to say something when Hermione lightly pressed her fingers against his lips, "Can we not talk about this? I-- I just want you to hold me, please."

For a moment, she thought he was going to argue but instead...

"Okay," he forced himself to say as he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her against his chest. Hermione closed her eyes while she took in his scent of musk, burying her head into his neck, as she began to drift off.
