Remus sat in Sirius's old room, staring out the window. He sighed as he leaned forward, pressing his elbows against his knees. He couldn't believe it. He just couldn't believe he was going to be working alongside the man, who had turn his world upside down. He couldn't believe how everyone was in agreement with him and he hated how Hermione had claimed he was... nice. Where was that when Fenrir broke into his house and had bit him? Where was that kindness when he had a hard time getting a job so that he could suppose his family?

Worst, he  couldn't stop thinking about that scene with Teddy. How Teddy had actually drew a picture for Fenrir... how he even went as far as to call Fenrir 'Papa'? It felt like a knife in his heart when Teddy had called him that. To actually associate Fenrir of all people as family... he didn't know what to think about that. Then the look on Fenrir's face after he took Teddy's photo and Andromeda and Teddy left. He never would have imagine Fenrir being able to feel such emotions if he hadn't seen it with his own eyes.

A light knocking came echoing through the door, causing him to turn his head to see Tonks walking into the room. There was a look of concern gleaming in her eyes.

"Hey, is everything alright?" Tonks asked him as she walked over and sat down beside him. He shrugged his shoulders.

"I'm not sure."

"Why? We've got a big upgrade to our side! You're going to have better living conditions as a werewolf---"

"So does he." Remus blurted out. Tonks narrowed her eyes; Remus sighed.

"Tonks, he's a madman! We're making it so now he's getting better life so he can now be able to reach his goal of taking over the ministry that much easier." Remus explained to her.

"Yeah, but that means you are also going to be getting better treatment just as much as he does. You can finally get a job, be better respected and things like that." Tonks said, trying to bring up the positive to the situation.

"But he does to." Remus grumbled. Tonks' eyes widened.

"Remus-- are-- are you saying... you would rather live a life of misery if it meant making sure Fenrir doesn't have a good life?" Tonks asked him, sounding horrified by the notion.

"You wouldn't understand." Remus told her.

"Of course, I don't understand! I get it, Remus! He's a bastard, he's a jerk, he's a bully, a monster and other such things because he had turned so many people against their wills including yours into werewolves, but if you think, making your life miserable is going to make his life just as bad, you've got another thing coming, buddy!" Tonks growled at him, standing up from the bed, "If you hadn't been paying attention to all the stories Hermione told us, he's having a pretty good life as we speak, so why don't you tell yourself you deserve as much happiness as him!"

Tonks turned on her heels and stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind her. Remus sighed, leaning over his knees as he cupped his face in his hands. The door opened again.

"Yes, what is it sweetheart," Remus asked, not looking up from his hands.

"Well now-- I've never been called that in all my life." Remus's skin crawled as she shot his head up to see it was Fenrir standing in the room. Remus felt a sudden urge to vomit as his hands gripped his stomach.

"I think I'm going to be sick." Remus mumbled. Fenrir rolled his eyes.

"Stop being dramatic, Pup." Fenrir told him as he sat beside Remus. Remus jolted as he stood up from the bed and scurrying over across the room.

"What are you doing here?" Remus asked.

"Well-- I couldn't help overhearing how you were upset that you were now getting a better chance at a good life." Fenrir growled, "Now what's that all about?"

"Nothing."

"What? You don't think you deserve a good life? All because of something you can't help?" Fenrir asked him. Remus shot him a glare.

"The only reason I even have this disease is because of you!" Remus shot at him, "I wouldn't have it if you hadn't come by our house, and bit me."

Fenrir shrugged his shoulders.

"I know I gave it to you, Pup. I'll always remember. But that's not what I'm asking, I'm asking, do you really think you don't deserve a good life?" Fenrir asked, "Don't Tonks and your kid deserve a good life?"

"Of course they do!" Remus spat at him, "They deserve the world!"

"Well guess what Runt, you're their world! But you're so intent on making yourself miserable, you're bringing them down with you. Remus, a wife deserves her husband and a child deserves his dad! And every time you go on about how you don't deserve to have a happy life, you're basically saying 'screw you' to them!"

"That's not fair!"

"Not fair? I'll tell you what's not fair, pup!" Fenrir shouted, standing up from the bed, "Not fair is the moment I was born, I was beaten up day in and day out by my Old Man! Not fair is when he made me get bit so I could mount to something! Not fair is when I watched him murder my own mother right in front of me! Not fair is a society having the nerve to look at me and say I'm not worth shit all because of a condition I didn't ask for then condemning others like the Death Eaters and saying that them discriminating against Muggle-borns is wrong yet they do the same thing! Not fair is the whole world saying I don't deserve happiness because of who I am! Not fair is hearing your Old Man, look me in the eye and saying werewolves deserve nothing by death! But you know what, i said screw that, because I know I deserved the right to be happy, to live a normal life, to have a wife, to have children, and so much more just like all these damn wizards out here do!"

Fenrir took in a deep breath, gazing down at the ground for a second before shooting a glare up at Remus.

"I know you will probably resent me for the rest of your damn life, Remus. But I know, that's not going to weigh me down. It's going to just weigh you down and make you miserable and make everyone around you miserable. Now is the time, you be a man! Now is the time for you to be a husband for that woman out there and a father for that son of yours! They need you as much as Harry, Hermione and Ron need you." Fenrir ordered him before turning around and storming out the door, wiping the tears that had begun to flood down his face.
