"God it's like times square down there." Andrea says as we both look over the side of the building.

"How's our signal?" The man who's name I still don't know asks.

"Like Dixon's brain." T-dog answers while fiddling with the buttons of their walkie. "Weak."

Merle doesn't do anything, mainly cause he can't. He only flips T-dog off.

"Keep trying." Unnamed man orders only for Andrea to turn to him.

"Why, there's nothing they can do."

"Got some people outside the city is all." Unnamed man tells Rick and I as I stare down at the city below. "There's no refugee center, that's a pipe dream."

"Than she's right, we're on our own." Rick says turning to the group. "It's up to us to find a way out."

"Good luck with that." Merle adds making me wish we gagged him. "These streets ain't safe in this part of town."

"Ain't that right sugar tits?" Merle asks, looking over at Andrea, who ignores him.

"Hey honeybunch, what you say you get me out of these cuffs, we go off somewhere and bump uglies."

I glance over the building, wondering if the fall would be more sufferable than listening to this.

"We're gonna die anyway." Merle adds, trying to convince Andrea.

"I'd rather." She tells him before standing up and walking back over to us.

"The streets ain't safe, now that's an understatement." Unnamed says as Merle mumbles to himself.

"What about under the streets? The sewers?" Rick asks and I turn my gaze to the two men.

"Hey Glenn." Unnamed says turning around. "Check the alley. You see any man hole covers?"

Glenn runs over to the side and looks around for a minute before turning back to us. "None, must be all out on the streets with the geeks."

"Maybe not." Not Andrea says. "Old buildings like this built in the twenties, often had drainage tunnels into the sewers in cause of flooding. Down in the subbasements."

"How do you know that?" I ask moving closer to the group.

"It's my job or was. I worked in the city zoning office." She answers making to turn to Rick.

He nods and then we're off the basement. I'm literally on the brink of tears when we get there as my ankle is killing me.

But thankfully not Andrea was right as there's a ladder leading down into some pipes.

"I scoped out this place the other times I was here, this is the only thing in this building that goes down." Glenn says shining his flashlight down. "But I've never gone down it."

"Who'd want to right?"

Everyone turns to him as I guess they've decided he's going first.

"Oh. Great."

"Well be right behind you." Andrea says, trying to reassure Glenn.

"No, no not you."

"Why not me? Think I can't?" Andrea asks getting pretty defensive.

"I wasn't-" Glenn starts but cuts himself off. Rick puts a hand on his shoulder tell him to. "Speak your mind."

Glenn hesitates for a moment before finally speaking his mind. "Look, until now I've always came here by myself, in and out, grab a few things. No problem."

"The first time I bring a group, everything goes to hell. No offense."

"You want me to go down this gnarly hole, fine, but only if we do it my way." Glenn finishes, glancing around for approval.
