"Ow, bitch." I snap at Daryl, the man responding by swinging at me making me duck. I punch right, then left, then right again colliding with the man's face.

"Time out, time out." I cry holding my leg. "I thought we said no kicking." I groan and the man chuckles at me. "You got me back, good hit." He tells me rubbing the side of his face.

"Don't let Maggie hear you using those words." Daryl tells me referring to my previous b word. "You gonna tell her?" I ask, catching my breath. Daryl just smiles and shakes his head.

"Take a break kid."

I don't have to be told twice as I rush out of the room bidding Daryl goodbye. I walk back to my cell block that I left a sleeping Carl in but he's not there anymore.

Figuring he's out with his dad at the farm I start making my way out there. Walking through the open gate I see two figures standing by the pig pen.

"There you are!" I shout at Carl running down to him and Rick. "How was your fight training?" Rick asks me as the two get dirty in the dirt.

"Daryl kicked me." I complain, sitting down on the grass spot. "Right in the shin. I'm gonna bruise." I tell the two who turn to each other and chuckle. "I'm serious it hurt."

The past six months have been relatively peaceful. Carl got put on farm duty with Rick earning him the affection name farmboy which Rick finds hilarious.

"Did you at least get him back?" Rick asks digging in the dirt. "Have you met me of course I did."

Hershel hops down to join us and Rick stands up to met him, the two men moving over to a plant.

I look over at Carl who's watching his dad and Hershel. "Come on farmboy get to it." He turns back to me with a handful of dirt chucking it at me.

I gasp as dirt covers me. "You rat." I tell him brushing the dirt off me. "You love me." Carl tells me with a smile and I shake my head a smile across my face too. "Whatever you've got to tell yourself."

A whistle stops him from saying anything else. "Let's do this!" Rick shouts at us and we all run over to the gate, Rick pulling the new pully system the doors opening and shoving a nearby walker against the also new spikes.

Carl and I pull the gate back as Michonne trots in atop her horse. We close up the gate before running over to Michonne as she jumps down.

"We're glad to see you." Rick tells her as I calm the horse. "Glad to see you too."

"Somebody hit the jackpot." Michonne says, reaching into her bag and pulling out a stack of comic books. "No way." Carl exclaims, smiling as she hands them to him. "Awesome, thank you."

"And for Ainsley." Michonne says, rummaging through the bag again. "Uh oh, I'm scared." I whisper as she pulls out a necklace holding it out to me. "Tada."

"It's so pretty." I tell her, bringing my eyes from her down to the necklace. "Thank you." I tell her as she hands it to me.

"Carl help." I demand holding out the necklace for him to put on but he's too focused on the comic books. "Hey, put those down for two seconds you nerd."

The boy rolls his eyes at me, sticking the comics under his arm and taking the necklace in his hands. I hold my hair up letting him clasp it before dropping my hair. "Thank you."

"I also found this." Michonne says, pulling out a men's razor, handing it to Rick. "Your face is losing the war." She tells him making me snort.

"Now what are you laughing at." Rick asks me and I chuckle raising my hands up. "Go help the horse." He tells us and I grab Carl's hand, pulling him over to the horse.
