I had fallen asleep on our long drive, I'm awoken only when I'm being moved out of the RV. I glare at Rick as he places me into the smaller car before promptly falling back asleep.

The next time I get rudely waken up is by the foul smell of rotting flesh. I quickly jolt up, taking in my surroundings.

We're on some highway, slowly making our way through the stopped cars. "It's alright Ains." Rick tells me from the drivers seat.

My moment of calmness lasts for all of five seconds as the RV in front of us is starting to smoke. Rick gets out and so does Lori, making Carl and I get out too.

"Problem Dale?" Rick asks, putting his sheriff's hat on.

"Just a small matter of being stuck in the middle of no where with no hope of a-" Dale starts only to cut himself off. "Okay that was dumb."

"If you can't find a radiator hose..." Shane says looking at all the cars around us.

"There's a whole bunch of stuff we can find." Daryl tells us while raiding an open trunk.

"I can siphon more fuel from these cars for a start." T-Dog offers/

"Maybe some water." Carol says, holding her daughter close.

"Or food." I mutter, clutching my very hungry stomach.

"This is a graveyard." Lori says, taking in the scene in front of us. " I don't know how I feel about this."

"The whole worlds a graveyard now, Lori." I tell her before making my way to a car to see what I can find.

My answer's nothing useful, a whole lotta junk.

I've searched three more cars before Sophia and Carl join me, both excited to do things on their own.

We only get to search one more car as Rick runs over, shoving Lori down. "Kids, under the cars." He whisper yells at us.

I glance behind him, noticing the herd of walkers coming our way. Carl and I shimmer under the closest car, Sophia taking the one next to us.

As the herd gets closer, so do Carl and I. We squish into each other getting as far away from the side of the cars.

I count at least twenty pairs of walker feet pass us, making me cover my mouth to conceal the sound of my breathing.

The amount of walker legs slowly start to lower, as the herd mainly passes.

It gets so quiet that I think we can get out, Sophia has the same idea but she's a lot quicker than me.

I watch as she starts to try and get out from under the car. I shake my head at her, trying to tell her to stay as I see at least two walkers approaching.

She doesn't see me.

Sophia screaming alerting the walker to her. One of the walkers gets down and tries to grab at her from under the car, but I see her head pop up on the other side.

Both the walkers are now chasing after her, but so is Rick, who got out from his spot to chase after the girl.

The rest of the group gets out from our spots, Carl and I crying.

"Lori, there's two walkers after my baby." Carol sobs out as Lori clutches her shoulder.

I let go of Carl, running over to our car and grabbing a gun. I sniffle while checking how many bullets are in the pistol and when I realize it's enough I run back over to the group to try and follow after.

I don't even get over the metal railing before Shane wraps his arms around me, promptly stopping me.

"Let me go." I demand, trying to shake him off me.
