We walk through the forest in silence, my head still pounding and my chest hurting. The two of us eventually reach a dirt road.

Michonne stops for a second, looking down at it but I barely get the chance to as she starts moving again.

We walk a bit more, my stare staying in front of me, my mouth open a bit. "You okay, Ains?" Michonne asks breaking me out of my trance. "Peachy." I whisper, my voice cracking.

"Ainsley-"

"I'm fine." I snap at the woman, tugging at my rope and walking quicker. My lip quivers as I walk and I take a shaky breath in, tears filling my eyes.

The shaky breaths soon turn into quiet sobs which turn into gasps. "Ainsley, you gotta breath." Michonne tells me, tying her walker to her sword handle.

I try to take a breath but I just can't, tears streaming down my face as I take short breathes. "Ainsley." Michonne says, grabbing the sides of my face forcing me to look at her.

"What's wrong?" She asks and I just shake my head continuing to choke on my tears. I grasp at my chest, scrunching up my shirts fabric.

"You're gonna pass out, you have to breathe." Michonne tells me, worry covering her face. "I can't." I tell her in between sobs.

"Look at me." She says, gently shaking my head. "In, with me." She tells me before she sucks in a deep breath and I do the same but mine comes out quicker than hers.

"No, again." Michonne tells me, still holding my face as we both take in deep breathes. "Out." She says, letting our a puff of air which I follow.

"Good, good." She tells me, using one hand to tuck my free hair behind my ear. "Again."

We repeat it a few times before I can breathe again. "You okay?" Michonne asks and I shake my head.

"I know, I know." She tells me, letting go of my face. "But we have to keep moving." She says and I nod, the two of us starting off again.

Nightfall comes quickly and a yawn leaves my mouth. "We'll stop, there's a car up a head, get some sleep." I only nod at her and we move towards the car, opening the doors easily.

We keep our leashed walkers outside, slamming the rope in the car door to keep them there. I lay across the back seat somehow managing to close my eyes.

I'm awoken when Michonne jolts up in the drivers seat making me jump up. "What, what happened?" I ask as she pants, looking around before her eyes lock on me.

"Nothing, nothing." She assures me, catching her breath. "We've got light back." I tell her, my voice hoarse. "We should get going." I tell her, grabbing my knife and gun from the floor.

The two of us continue through the woods us both in a trance like state as we move, both deep in thought.

We enter a group, walking along side the walkers like we're one of them.

I stay in my trance, not noticing Michonne stray from my side until I hear her. "No." She says from behind me making me whip around.

She's let go of her walker, having chopped the head off a different one. She pushes the one closest to her away before placing her hands on her knees.

I walk over, dragging my walker behind me as she slices another one's head off. "Michonne." I whisper while the woman continues to plow down walkers.

Taking my knife out, I let go of my walker running over to the woman and stabbing the walker behind her in the head.

The two of us stand back to back, taking down the walkers around us as tears start filling my eyes again and Michonne keeps muttering no.

We take them all down quickly, taking a second to catch our breath. I close my eyes, holding back sobs again. But Michonne grabs my hand as hers rack through her body.
