It's been a few days since everything happened at the bar. Randall's leg is as healed as it's going to get and Beth is doing better too.
This morning Rick and Shane left early to drop Randall off someone. Once I said my good byes and went back to my room where I stayed until they got back.
Until they got back with Randall still in the back seat.
The group agreed to lock him in the barn, just until we figure out what to do with him.
Daryl went to beat him up a little and I tagged along to make sure no one dies.
My gun is in its holder as I sit on a table, my legs crossed beneath me. Randall is tied to a chair in front of me and Daryl stands between us.
Randall's face is already pretty beaten and he's sobbing as Daryl hits him again.
And again.
And again.
"I told you-" Randall chokes out but Daryl cuts him off. "You ain't told me shit." The man yells grabbing the young boy's shirt.
"I barely knew those guys. I met 'em on the road." Randall explains again and I fiddle with my shoe lace.
"How many in your group?" Daryl asks as Randall pants, blood covering his mouth. My eyes focus on Daryl's hand as it finds his knife.
"Daryl-" I start jumping off the table before Daryl slams the knife into the floor, just beside Randall's leg.
"How many?" He shouts in the boys face. "Thirty, thirty guys." Randall tells him, panic and fear clear across his face.
"Where?" Daryl asks, and when he doesn't get an answer he rips the bandage off Randall's bummed leg making the boy scream.
"I don't know. I swear!" Randall quickly spits out as Daryl hovers his blade over the nearly healed wound. "We were never any where more than a night."
"Scouting, planning on staying local?" Daryl asks, slightly digging his knife into Randall's leg. "I- I don't know. They- they left me behind." Randall stutters, the cold blade pressed against his leg.
"Did you ever pick off a scab?" Daryl asks holding down the wounded leg. "Come one man I'm- I'm trying to cooperate."
"Start real slow at first." Daryl continues ignoring Randall's pleas. "Sooner or later you just gotta rip it off."
"Okay okay!" Randall shouts out and I hop back on the table. "They have weapons- heavy stuff, automatics."
"But I didn't do anything." Randall pleads, trying to squirm out of Daryl's grip.
"Your boys shot at my boys, shot at a kid." Daryl tells him, his grip on his leg tightening. "Tried to take this farm."
"You just went along for the ride?" Daryl asks getting in the boy's face. "You're trying to tell me you're innocent?"
"Yes!" Randall shouts at him, his breathing heavy. "These people took me in. Not just guys, a whole group of em."
"Men and women, kids too." Randall explains and Daryl backs off, still holding his knife but moving away from Randall and closer to me. "Just like you people."
"Thought I'd have a better chance with them you know?" He continues, his gaze finding me. "But."
Tw starts!
"We'd go out, scavenge-- just the men." Randall says, taking a glance back to Daryl before his eyes find the floor. "One night we found this campsite."
"A man and his two daughters. Teenagers you know." He says and my eyes find Daryl's. "Real young. Real cute."
