CONTINUATION

Monami just stood taken back at Karan's compliment. She just smiled and said 'Thank you Khadoos Shergill.' She felt like she was getting her soul back after so many tumultous and tortureous days. Monami prayed to god thanking him for returning her Khadoos Shergill back to her. Everyone else in the mess looked at the couple in front of them and were happy that they were finally together again after so many days.....

'Ab iski kahani Karan aur Monami hi bata paayenge.' Faizi said.

Param was shocked to learn as to how his brother blamed himself for something that wasn't his fault in the first place hadn't it been the damn mission he would have returned sooner. He never fathomed how much his brother was harsh with himself.

Mai bohot pehele hi jaan gai thi ki Karan ko nightmares aate hai lekin shayad uss din mera doubt confirm hua ki Karan ko PTSD, matlab Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. As a doctor I knew I needed to work fast, kyuki aese cases mai patient ko uss panic situation se bahar nikaalna chahiye. Maine koshish kari ki mai Karan ko wapas uske sub conscious mind se release karu lekin woh possible hi nahi ho raha tha, so maine woh kamre ka darwaza kholne ko try kia. Aur jaise hi maine kamre mai enter kia I think Karan ka nightmare bohot buri tarah trigger hua and usne baaju mai rakhi gun se mujhe galti se shoot kiya. Uske baad ka mujhe utna kuch yaad nahi hai lekin agar aaj bhi sochu toh uss dinn Karan ki koi galti nahi thi. I guess hum mai se dono ko idea nhi tha ki aesa bhi kuch ho sakta hai.' Monami said solemnly.

Everyone was shocked listening to what Monami had just told them. Each person in the mess knew that Karan had suffered a lot after Param's supposed demise but everyone except Faizi was shook to the core when they got to know that Karan was suffering from PTSD. Sid was just overcome with guilt for berating Karan that time, now that he knew the entire story he knew it wasn't Karan's fault entirely.

'Jab mere haatho se woh gun ki trigger press hui mujhe sirf gunshot sunai di. Jab aakhein khuli toh Monami saamne khadi thi uski right abdomen mai goli lagi thi, uski saree khoon se lal ho chuki thi aur uske aakhein yeh baat process kar rahi thi ki yeh sab kaise hua. Karan told his lips quivering remembering those horrific events.
