CONTINUATION

Karan had moved to the waiting room as he waited for Monami and Sid after he had purchased her medicines. He had said that he will join the duo over the phone call but Monami denied saying they were coming to the waiting room. As he waited he heard clapping sounds he alone in the waiting room he turned around and saw Dr. Mahajan standing at the door clapping his hands.

Karan stood up and asked 'Dr. Mahajan aap yaha?'

'Kyu chauk gaye mujhe yaha dekh ke. Tumhe kya laga ki tum joh bhi Monami ke saath kar rahe ho usse dekh kar mai chup baithunga?' Dr. Mahajan said sneeringly at Karan and stood in front of him.

'Uss dinn restaurant mai maine joh bhi kaha, woh sach nikla hi. Arrey mujhe laga ki tum thode der Monami ke saath timepass karoge usse paise le loge aur phir chod doge. Par mai toh galat tha tumne toh tumhaari zindagi bhar ki setting kar li hai ache jaal mai phasaya hai usse. Engagement kar li usse taaki uske saare paise le sako hai na?' Dr. Mahajan spat down those venomous words. Karan looked at him, his face full of anguish but kept his calm since he knew Monami needed more and at this moment she was his priority.

'Mujhe nahi patah tha tum itne cheap ho ki apne missions bhi fake karoge aur apne aap ko shaheed bhi potray karoge aur wapas aaoge. Tum itne kaise gir sakte ho haa? iss level tak woh bhi kuch paiso ke liye pehele Monami ko apne pyaar ke jaal mai phasaya aur phir-' Dr. Mahajan was cut off when he heard a voice, a voice he dreaded hearing whilst he was talking to Karan.

It was none other than Monami, she was talking to Sid about how they had met Dr. Mahajan yesterday and how she had a glimmer of hope that maybe...maybe her dad would accept her for what she is and accept her relationship with Karan. She had entered the waiting room to share the very same thoughts with Karan, but what she saw and heard blew out that glimmer of hope and ignited a fire of rage.

'Bass kijiye papa.' Monami said with a deadly calm voice.

Karan and Dr. Mahajan turned around to see Monami and Sid at the waiting room door. One look at Monami and Karan knew she was raging with anger her eyes held nothing but pure disgust and bubbling anger. She walked into the waiting room and stood in front of Dr. Mahajan and Karan.

'Uss dinn restaurant mai bina kuch soche samjhe Karan ko itna kuch keh diya uske baad bhi mere aur Karan ke beech kitne arguments huye uss incident ko lekar...but we settled it out naahi maine Karan ko push kiya uss incident ke baare mai batane aur naahi hi usne mujhe bataya. Aur aaj samajh aaya ki usne kyu nahi bataya. How could you papa? Kya chahte hai aap mujhse ?' Monami asked tears slipping from her eyes.

'Mai yeh chahta hu ki tum wapas mere saat ghar chalo. Yeh training and all tumhaare bass ki baat nahi hai tumse nahi ho paayega yeh sab. Iss Karan ko chod do woh humhaare status ka nahi hai aur naahi woh tumhe khush rakh paayega, yeh insaan khud nahi jaanta ki uski zindagi kitni hai. Yeh ek commando hai aaj hai toh kal nahi. Isse chod do woh Aneesh toh isse kayi zyada acha hai well settled hai bohot naam kamaya hai, respected hai. Aur toh aur tumhe khush rakhega aur tumhe yeh training karni hi kyu hai itni kaabil doctor ho apni khudki family ki hospital chains hai unhe sambhaalo.' Dr. Mahajan said while looking at Monami holding her by her shoulders.

Monami stepped back from Dr. Mahajan, 'Aap ko aaj bhi yahi lagta hai na ki mai ek emotional fool hu joh kuch nahi kar sakti. But your wrong papa, aap mujhe samajh nahi, paaye mere capabilities dekh paaye and neither did you believe or trust me. Aur aap jiss Aneesh ke baare mai baat kar rahe hai na, ki woh mujhe khush rakhega aur woh bohot respected aur honoured hai, aap ko bata du ki woh wohi Aneesh hai jisne aapki beti ke character ko media ke saamne uchaala, woh wahi Aneesh hai jisne Karan ko maarne ke plan mai saath diya, woh wohi Aneesh hai jisne apne country ke saath gaddaari ki ek terrorist organization ka saath deke.' she stopped and looked at Dr. Mahajan who looked shocked.
