MAHAJAN HOUSE

MoRan and Dr. Mahajan entered the Mahajan House and one of their servants arrived.

'Monami madam kaise ho aap?' Ramesh dada asked as he served them water.

'Mai theek hu dada aap kaise hai?' Monami said sipping water from her glass settling on the couch.

'Hum bhi theek hai madam. Aapka kamra saaf karwa diya hai mai aapka samaan upar lekar jaata hu.' Ramesh dada said. 

'Ramesh sunno Karan ka bhi samaan Monu ke room mai rakh dena.' Dr. Mahajan said gesturing at Karan's luggage bag. 

'Ji sir.' Ramesh dad said and took Karan and Monami's bag to their room.

'Papa Karan mere room mai?' Monami asked stutteringly.

'Haa kyu tumhe koi problem hai?' Dr. Mahajan asked his daughter raising an eyebrow in question.

'Nahi koi problem nahi hai mujhe laga aap kahenge Karan ko guest room mai rehne ke liye.' she told him glancing at Karan who also nodded.

'Kyu bhai, tumhaara fiancé hai ghar ka hone wala damad hai guest room mai kyu rahega.' Dr. Mahajan said. 'Aur mujhe nahi lagta Karan ko koi problem hogi tumhaare saath room share karne kyu Karan.'

'Haa sir koi problem nahi hogi, unless Rani Saheba mujhe neend mai laath maare aur mai neeche gir jau.' Karan said teasingly looking at Monami, who narrowed his eyes at him.

'Advisory de raha hu Karan, Monami bachpann mai bohot kick karti thi sote waqt agar agle dinn body pain hua toh bata dena tumhe pain killers de dunga.' Dr. Mahajan said playing along.

'Aap dono kitne bure ho mere saamne mere hi burai kar rahe ho?' Monami huffed in annoyance and stood up, 'Mujhe aap dono se baat hi nahi karni aur Khadoos Shergill tum aaj couch pai so jaana.'

'Arrey woh couch pai kyu soyega itne saare kamre hai abhi Ramesh se kehke koi bhi ek kamra saaf karwa dunga.' Dr. Mahajan said with an extremely diabetes inducing sweet smile. 'Kyu Karan chalega na tumhe.

'Arrey sir kaisa sawaal hai chalega nahi daudega.' Karan replied making Monami glare at him angrily.

'Theek hai phir tum dono sasur damad ki jodi ko joh karna hai karo mai jaa rahi hu' she said turning to go, before she turned back to them again, 'Baat karne ki koshish bhi mat karna.' she warned them and left to her room stomping her feet all the way up the stairs.

Karan and Dr. Mahajan laughed out loud at Monami's irritation, high fiving each other. Until Karan straightened up and said clearing his throat, 'Sir mai dekh ke aata hu usse patah chala sachi mai mujhe room se nikal diya isne.' 

'Haa bhai jaau, kehte hai na happy wife happy life.' Dr. Mahajan said chuckling at his daughter's antics. Karan smiled in returned and made his way to his Rani Saheba's room.

MONAMI'S ROOM

'Huh samajhte kya hai yeh dono apne aap ko.' Monami muttered to herself as she picked up her bag and kept it on the bed to unpack it.

'Aane do uss Khadoos ko baat hi nahi karungi usse mai, bohot enjoy kar raha tha na neeche papa ke saath mujhe chidaane mai.' she said as she pulled her hair in a ponytail and resumed emptying her bag. 

She continued to mutter in anger, that's when two arms sneakingly wound around her neck.

'Ab kyu aarahe ho mere pass tumhe toh bada maza aaraha tha na papa ke saath mujhe chidaane mai.' she said trying to push his hands away from her waist.
