NOTE: I'm sorry if I haven't written properly about the pinning ceremony which takes place in the army. It's an honorary ceremony and I wouldn't like to butcher or disrespect it hence I've kept it really short. Also the pinning ceremony has been inspired from movies based on army. Hope you don't mind 😅
PARAKRAM SAF HANGER AREA
The hanger area was well decked up for Karan's pinning ceremony. All the cadets where dressed well in their outfits, looking sharp and smart. The cadets where all buzzing with excitement for their favourite head trainer's promotion ceremony. Nikhil and Baby stood with them waiting patiently for the trainers to arrive. Barkha and Mrs. Batra were talking with the wives of the officers who had come from the headquarters. Monami on tow with Barkha meeting a few of Param's batchmate's wives.
The trainers arrived with Batra sir leading the bunch followed by all other trainers. The trainers looked gallant in their uniform. Patriotism oozing in their aura, looking lean , chin held up in pride. And why wouldn't they be after all it was a matter of pride for them.
The officers from the headquarters who had come for the ceremony where greeted by the Parakram SAF trainers. They all had been meeting each other after a long time. Param and Karan met a few officers who were of their dad's and Batra Sir's cavalry.
The officers where proud of the boys for what they had become. Strong, brave and valiant officers and that too among the best of commandos.
As Karan was having a conversation with Param and one of their dad's close friends, he heard Param call out for Barkha. And that's when he saw his Rani Saheba walking with his bhabhi.
Karan's breath hitched looking at the love of his life. Monami was looking enchanting in that saree. She had a heavenly aura around her, slight blush that rose and smeared on her cheeks and an angelic smile playing on her lips. Well his Rani Saheba did look freaking alluring and he couldn't seem to take his eyes of her.

Param nudged Karan on his shoulder lightly 'Chotte I know Monami khubsurat hai lekin sambhalke, apni Rani Saheba ko baad mai jitna mann chahe utna ghoor lena, bhul mat headquarters se officers bhi aaye hai. And I'm sure tu nahi chahta woh Majnu Karan Shergill ko dekhe.' Param whispered to him.
Karan was brought out of his trance, even though he was annoyed at his brother for disturbing him but yeah his Param bhaiya was right. He definitely didn't want the other officers to look at him head over heels for his Rani Saheba...atleast not now for the time-being,
'Arrey Barkha kaisi ho tum?' Brig. Gen. Khanna asked.
'Mai ek dum badhiya Khanna uncle. How are you? Bohot saalo baad mulakaat huyi.' Barkha replied.
