BRIGADIER GENERAL KHANNA HOUSE

Param and Barkha along with Baby reached Khanna uncle's house. They rang the doorbell and the house help opened the door.

'Ji aap kaun?' He asked politely.

'Woh darasal mai Param Shergill, Khanna uncle ne dinner ke liye bulaya tha.' Param answered.

'Acha aaiye andar.' The house help replied 'Sahab living area mai hai madam ke saath aap hi ka intezaar kar rahe hai.'

Param nodded and gave the house help a smile and entered the house. The house help led them to the living room where them met Khanna uncle.

'Param my boy.' Khanna uncle called and opened his arms for a hug. Param gave in for the hug, he had known Brig. Gen. Khanna since his training days, and the latter had been a father figure, mentor for him after his very own Colonel Batra.

'Yeh lijiye sir aap ke liye.' Param said while forwarding a wine bottle that was wrapped in a cellophane paper.

'Thank you Param, aaj toh yeh bottle khul ke rahegi, itne saalo ke baad Shergills ghar aaye hai.' Khanna uncle said and patted Param on his back who chuckled.

'Barkha kaise ho tum? Itne mahino baad mil rahi hu tumse.' Neetu aunty asked, Khanna uncle's wife.

'Mai ekdum badhiya aunty aap kaise ho?' She asked while coming out from Neetu aunty's embrace.

'Mai bhi bilkul theek, aur Miss Shergill aap kaise ho?' She asked cupping Baby's face.

'I'm fine.' She replied enthusiastically.

'Neetu aunty yeh aap ke liye, aapke favourites.' Param said forwarding a bunch of lilies to Neetu aunty.

'They are so beautiful, thank you bache.' Neetu Aunty said while hugging Param. 'Acha mai inhe andar flower vase mai rakhkar aati hu, kitne dinno baad kisine mere liye phul laaye hai.' She said while eyeing at Khanna uncle who gulped in fear and the others present suppressed a laugh.

'Param inhe toh tum jaante hi ho.' Khanna uncle said while moving aside revealing a man.

'Arrey uncle inhe kaise bhul sakta hu mai yeh toh mere favourite senior ke husband hai.' Param said while moving ahead towards the man who gave a smile to Param.

'Haa haa tum bhi toh uske favourite student the.' The man replied while shaking hands with Param and giving a side hug. 'Aur mere sabse na pasand patient.'

'Yeh aap bhi jaante hai ki yeh jhooth hai uncle.' Param said while giving a goofy smile.

'Oh come on yeh afwaaye kaun faila raha hai.' The man replied while hiding a smile.

'Ji nahi Deepak uncle mai aapka favourite patient aur Juhi ma'am ka favourite junior tha.' Param said while pulling his collars in a fun way.

'Haa haa tum aur koi doctor ke favourite patient aesa ho hi nahi sakta dono bhai aese hi ho.' Barkha said while jokingly scoffing at Param and Karan who never liked doctor visits and medicines.

'Kaiso ho Deepak uncle?' Barkha said meeting Deepak.

'Mai ekdum theek hu, and if I'm not wrong yeh hai tumhaari aur Param ki beti Saumya? Kitni badi hogayi hai yeh.' He said while keeping a gentle and loving hand over Baby's head who gave a small to him.

(Ok if you guys haven't figured it out, it's none other than our very own Dr. Deepak Mahajan aka Walnut. Also I don't remember Monami ever mentioning her dad in the show in front of Barkha hence over here, Parkha don't know Monami is Walnut's daughter.)
