Chapter Nine: True Self

"Knockout do this Knockout do that can't I get any Peace around here?" I could hear Knockout grumble as the door opened.
Once I knew it was him I sat up as he looked at me.
"Oh, hey human its about time you awakened. Lord Megatron has been giving me hell none stop. Can't even go out for a drive,"
"What happened?"
"Well the Autobots invaded the warship in search of you but left because of there human Jack was with them. Starscream did something to you which made you black our for a couple of hours,"
Laughter was heard before I could ask more questions Breakdown came into the lab.
"What's funny old friend?"
"I-I-Its S-Starscream he got energon all over him," he laughed before calming down.
"How's that?"
"He couldn't reach for it. I asked if he needed help he said no. He was about to grab it but he slipped and it got all over him,"
Knockout chuckled.
"What are we to do with Starscream?" Knockout asks smiling.
'They look like there a great friends its sad that there in war.' I thought smiling a little.

"Fay said that?" Miko asked wide eyed as I was telling her the story.
"Yes. Look I don't know what Megatron's been telling her but we gotta convince her he's the enemy. If only she could see his true self then she'll be with us,"
"But like how? Your grounded from leaving base by your mother,"
"And me too. I'll add an extra 7 days to your punishment. Jack I still can't believe you went on that ship without saying anything. Had me worry to death about you and-"
"I know, I know disobeyed your orders I'm sorry Arcee it won't happen again,"
She sighed.
"Just promise me you won't pull a Miko on me again,"
"Hey," Miko whined pouting.
I sighed.
"I here by promise not to pull a Miko again,"
Arcee smiled.
"Good then I'll reduce your grounding from 7 days to 6 days,"
"What? But that's still two weeks. With my mom grounding me for a week now you grounding me for almost a week that still makes two, "
" would you like for me to make it 8 days? Almost three weeks?"
I sighed defeated.
"No,"
"Good. Two weeks it is then," Arcee said with a smile.

"What's wrong Fay? You've been quiet this whole time," Megatron asks as I was with him sitting on his shoulder when he was in his chair.
"I'm just thinking,"
"About?"
"What Jack said,"
"And what is that he said?"
"I dont want you to get mad at me,"
"I could never Fay. If anything I worry more then get angry at you,"
"Jack told me that you've been lying to me this whole time and that Optimus was the real hero is that true?"
Megatron was quoet for a while until he sighed.
"Soundwave open up the ground bridge," he said to the intercom as a bridge opened.
" Megatron?"
"Yes I did lie to you Fay. In truths we Decepticons are evil. I was the one who started the war not Optimus. I took you because you were friends with the Prime's human and I knew he would do anything to get you back.... But you can leave now you know the truth. No more reason to keep you here," he said standing up as he turned around to leave.
"Megatron wait.... Close the bridge,"
Right after I said that the bridge had closed.
"Why would you stay?"
"Because the weeks I've known you.... I grew attached to you. I know you say your evil but that's not how I see you. Ever since I met you you've been nothing but kind to me and I respect that about you. Megatron weather your evil or not I will stay with you I'm not going anywhere,"
Megatron turned around to look at me.
"I am glad to hear that Fay. You don't know how happy I really am with you right now," he says as he holds out a hand.
I smiled as I jumped on it and he lifted me up.
"I am taking you back to Knockout I will be busy today,"
I nodded.
"OK," I said as we walked out of the room together.
